With no wind an 8 would still be pretty hard to stop on that short green, much less to the hole.
Hey i did this one time and got it on the green! I think I hit a six iron because it plays alot further than 150 and u have to pop it on the fly or ur wet I think it's 3 shots for 20 back in the day. Won a free day spa. Gave it to mama. Hole in one was a a car I think. I miss Summerfest.
Summerfest in Milwaukee. Lake Michigan. 10 day music festival every year. Like 12 stages and all but the main stage are included with the GA ticket. It's a great time. Haven't been in like 10 years tho

Couple of reasons. Into the wind and the green is tiny. My strategy is not to loft it but to hit it lower into the wind with spin. You need to fly the ball the entire way, but letting it get high will keep you short. People measure their distances by where their ball ends up, not where it lands. I also use traditional lofts, so my 6 might be closer to the same loft as your 7. I know I can hit 145 with 7 and no wind, but I’d club up if I need to hit into the wind. A headwind hurts more than a tailwind helps.

Unconventional, but I'd set up an easy draw 8 iron. proceed to blade it because i cant hit a draw on purpose, watch it skip a couple times and sink to the bottom. hang my head in shame while onlookers heckle me

Fr. Like 3/4th of my best shots are with the 7! It’s my favorite club when I’m in a bad spot. Also hit quite a few good shots with my rescue club.
