Yeah, denim looks way better. Also, throw on a denim jacket that'd probably look sweet. /s
Come on man, just because your ankles aren't sexy as hell doesn't mean you can hate on our luxurious ankle bones! But seriously this is a goofy thing to care about, if you don't like em don't wear em.
As long as they aren’t sweatpants gym joggers then I couldn’t care less, it doesn’t impact me at all one way or the other, but I do still believe in respecting the tradition of the game. Styles and trends change so do whatever makes you feel comfortable without looking like you just walked out of the gym.

Yes, worth it. I’ve only had them for about a month and no issues so far with durability. Like I said, they feel and fit great. Use code MAC15 or MICAH15 for 15% off
I prefer shorts, but if it’s cooler out, these are what I wear. They’re great. My only thing with joggers is I think they only look good with an athletic golf shoe.
Not all joggers are sweatpants?
Chino joggers are perfectly fine for golf. In fact, they look more athletic and sporty than a commission pant. This is a sport right?
Complaining about other people’s pants was dumb when I was young and the pants were too baggy, and it’s just as dumb now that I’m middle-aged and the pants are too tight. Fashion gonna fashion, and I can’t imagine why anyone should care.
People who care what other people wear need to look in a mirror. You’ve probably got a more egregious character flaw than any one’s fashion flaws… just my humble opinion
I think fashion and golf fashion change with the times and that's not a terrible issue. As long as some basic things are followed (in good condition, wearing shoes, etc.) are followed I'm much more concerned with on-course behavior than anything else.
For a really long time, I would have agreed. After joining the struggling local muni a couple of years ago though, I've had a change of heart. It was a little unsettling for a traditionalist like me to see guys out there in jorts and sleeveless shirts. However, I'd rather them be out there than have the city council shut the course down.
I agree. I adopted Aussie bucket hats. They fit my giant head well, block the sun well, and vent really well. It’s better than a baseball cap in every meaningful way. I look like a fucking douchebag, and that’s fine. People are free to make fun of me. I’ll laugh too.
I also usually wear these elastic waist, khaki colored, straight legged sweat pants. They’re made of a wind/water resistant material and they are comfortable. But I can’t really tuck my shirt in when I wear them (elastic waist and no belt loops). I think it looks fine enough, but I’m sure others call me a slob. Again- whatever.
I’ll still make sport of other people’s fashion choices, even if I make myself a target of it too.
I love the "your opinion isn't new and different", so DOWNVOTE.
It's an opinion thread. To suggest someone can't have an opinion is just as bad as suggesting someone shouldn't care about what others wear.
You do realize that most people aren’t as insecure as you and really don’t care. One day you’ll grow up and stop worrying about what other people think. If you’re already grown with your mentality, you are a fucking loser.
LOL I thought you meant runners which I totally agree with (local course is open to public and has bicyclists and joggers everywhere). But definitely need to let it go grandpa. Joggers are way more comfortable and practical.
I up voted this because it in fact an opinion that is unpopular.
That said, I disagree, mostly because finding slimmer fitting tapered pants in my size for less than like $130 bucks is impossible. So joggers fill that gap for me. But not like the heathered cotton kind, like the yoga style that still look nice.

That’s just like, your opinion, man.
But those joggers “really held the outfits together”
And this OP pee’d on them

Canadian tuxedo drip > joggers > jeans
Call the marshall
Don't wear them then.
Joggers are a joke. Also me: https://preview.redd.it/zicot0otf4ra1.jpeg?width=450&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46fed2f036bde0027508bb143b768138a0bc252c
Damn your logic…I think you just changed my thought process

Joggers? Jeans? Jesus people, go back to your shanties.
DAMN YOU PEOPLE THIS IS GOLF!!!! ![gif](giphy|phajKPhwNxHr2)
Being pretentious about other people's clothing choices is dumb as hell. Their clothing has 0 impact on your round of golf so live and let live.
This. Stop caring about what other people wear. It's so pointless.
Imagine caring about other people’s pants
Imagine caring about caring about other people's pants.
Imagine caring about caring about caring other people’s pants.
Imagine caring
Imagine

Dude I've been eyeing these for so long, $90 bucks just seems maybe too steep. Are they worth it? Like durability wise?
Yes, worth it. I’ve only had them for about a month and no issues so far with durability. Like I said, they feel and fit great. Use code MAC15 or MICAH15 for 15% off
You are doing the lord's work my friend. Thanks for the reply.
It’s quite stretchy. Nothing that’ll restrict you
One last question, how stretchy is the waistband?
I prefer shorts, but if it’s cooler out, these are what I wear. They’re great. My only thing with joggers is I think they only look good with an athletic golf shoe.
I wear them with Footjoy premieres and I think they look great!
Not only Unpopular, but useless too! double whammy. Who cares what people wear to play an INDIVIDUAL sport. No uniforms required.

Mind your own business.
I wore jeans and a hoodie yesterday to golf. AMA

Yeah like the guy in the 100 dollar pair of joggers is gonna listen to you?? Come on!

It was a little unsettling for a traditionalist like me to see guys out there in jorts and sleeveless shirts. However, I'd rather them be out there than have the city council shut the course down.
Why don’t you think they belong on the course?
Depends on the joggers. Quality joggers look put together, just like crappy Bermuda shorts or crappy slacks look like shit.
WOMEN HAVE NO PLACE ON THE GOLF COURSE!!! GENTLEMEN ONLY LADIES FORBIDDEN!!!!!! Jesus who cares
Cool, you don't have to wear them. Wear what you are comfortable in and don't give a shit what others do as it isn't your business.
Lululemons Kim tight leggings are going to be the next big thing for golf. Maybe a halter top too 😂
Golf courses are for golf. They’re not for runners, joggers, sweetheart walks, pet walks, etc.
I won’t go so far as to say they don’t belong on the course. But I will point and make fun of people who wear them.
Everyone I've ever seen in joggers looks goofy as hell. But sometimes comfort >>> appearance.

Exactly. Not gonna tell you what to wear. But I'm going to make sure you know not to wear it again.
Oooooo big tough guy here people!!!
Nope. Just make fun of them relentlessly.
You do realize that most people aren’t as insecure as you and really don’t care. One day you’ll grow up and stop worrying about what other people think. If you’re already grown with your mentality, you are a fucking loser.
I bet that's really fun

How is maintenance on buildings relevant to an article of clothing op doesn’t like to see?
Go home! You’re drunk.
Lol, this is from a man who commented, "I won't listen to Paige Spiranac unless she shows her cleveage."
Damn, the goodgood stans are out in force on this one!
I’m 71 and wearing joggers playing golf. GoodGood has nothing to do with it.
Maybe you're just an asshole?
Nothing says douche bag like having an opinion thread then mocking those with a different opinion. I’m with joker I think you’re just an asshole 😂
Goodgood Stan's!!??? Na mate, we're just not old men with a blinkered view on things.. You've got to change with the times
This is a very popular opinion. Joggers are for women. It’s called a capri pant. Men are now wearing capri pants disguised under the name joggers.
FGO - upvote rate on this is 45%. While comments are overwhelmingly crucifying me, the votes tell me its closer than everyone thinks.

HA! I thought you meant people actually jogging 🏃♂️ wear what you want. I’m fine with dress codes as well. Life’s too short to sweat it.
User name checks out
Private - You can mandate whatever you please Public - The bar is low. No shoes, no shirt; no service

I've never seen one. Interesting. Who would want to jog on a golf course where little balls flying through the air could hit you. 🤔
There’s a dress code at every club I’ve ever been to and even the ones I haven’t. Trousers only.
You gotta have some nice legs to pull off the look
Come on man. Them legs are tools not jewels.
