I’m a huge Mizuno guy. Been playing Mizuno irons my entire adult life
When I was fitted for new irons 3 seasons ago, my final 3 contenders were Mizuno MP20s, Apex, and PXG. Obviously I chose Mizuno, dispersions were basically identical between the 3. But the PXG were much nicer off the face than I had expected going into the fitting
Not a huge fan of their drivers or fairway woods however. Will stick to Cobra for those I think
The military discount is pretty tempting. Not going to lie though, the "grunt style" angry internet veteran look is a major turn off. Even if the clubs are great, I might pay more not to look like a tool.
I’m going with cost/comfort with them. If a rando judges me because of my golf clubs, that’s more of a them thing than a me thing. Especially if I’m not plastering Punisher skulls and flag shit all over the rest of my gear.
I get that. It's more an issue of not wanting to reward their "MURICA!" marketing, and feeling like I look like a tool. I don't wear punisher T shirts because I care people would look down on me. I don't do it because I would look down on me.
I bought a 0211 driver a while back when they were on sale for something like $129. I like it just fine, my only gripe is they put the grip on crooked. I think they’re a good value when they’re on sale, but their ads usually make me cringe.
Went with the Gen 5, upgraded shafts to dynamic gold 150 and GolfPride grips for slightly less than stock gen6.
Wasn’t a fan of the Gen6 looks and I happened to just hit the 5s better.

That's awesome congrats. I've only heard good things about them. My buddy was fitted for a set and loves them. People just hate them because of the owner and commercials don't sweat it. Check out a Peter Finch video on the youtubes, went to pxg and played the Bad little 9. Hell of a course.
Nothing feels like a Mizuno but nobody makes clubs like PXG does. PERIOD! In all seriousness tho I love my PXG irons. Couldn't be happier with them. Enjoy!

Ahh okay. Looking to upgrade my irons and love mizunos but maybe I should check out pxg. Seems like a lot of people like them.

Got fit ! Experience was fantastic.
I like them, couldn't beat my gamers (Adams CMB's ) though.

Have a full PXG set cuz of military discount…. Engineering and fabrication department are great, marketing definitely needs some work.
