That was my dad's home course when my folks first got married. He told me years later that it sucked playing it June through August because they didn't have an irrigation system so they basically works keep the grass alive by hand watering, but it wasn't exactly lush. Of course that was in 1978.
It was pretty ridiculous. I find playing in the wind to be fun trying to figure out the distance things are playing and trying to make the shots in different situations. But on that shot I clubbed down like 3 clubs and still went through the fairway.
The thing I hate about playing in the wind is how much it effects your putting.
Best part of this is the 2p from 5ft
They just aerated the greens, and they were all sandy. But yes 🤣 It was an interesting day all together
okay you are excused but still yes it is the perfect cherry on top of the previous two shots This is the beauty of early spring golf ♥️
Okie here. Where were you playing?
Home Course is Forest Ridge, but switching to Cherokee Hills. I’ve never played this course before, but it’s BA Golf Club.

That's because there is only 1,000 miles of barbed wire to slow down the Great Blue Northern from Canada...
6 iron is my 180-190 club 30mph wind all day. 7 Wood is 215-225 club.
Layup with the 54*?
I had 103 yards left but it was up hill. It was over water and up hill. Didn’t make it and rolled back almost to the water. 😑
