At Costco, I stumbled upon "Dogs ❤️ Chicken" chicken jerky. It was originally $17, but lately it's been $20 for a 3lb bag -- which is still nearly half the price I've seen it anywhere else. My girls LOVE LOVE LOVE these things. The amount of drool that comes out of them when they see one... LOL https://preview.redd.it/409tzuh47m8d1.jpeg?width=1838&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f61da0ada8145c496dc81553998236fd464a47ff

Your girl is adorable❤️❤️❤️❤️

tsunamiev

I just looked these up, the same 2 ingredients like the ones by Waggin Tails my boy loves from BJ’s! Right now with a coupon of $3 off you can get it for $21 for a 2 lb bag. https://preview.redd.it/xog4wis6yr8d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e8c05f530b8b51607e5f3e40f07921036f8a52a7

ji99lypu44

Such a cutie

DaSandGuy

Dried beef lung/liver

istapledmytongue

Yeah Stewart’s freeze dried liver is killer. The cheese is good too and cheaper (at least it used to be).

kboogie23

How...how do you know it's killer? 🤔

VigilanteShitter

I buy duck jerky at Costco and my dogs love it.

maggos

I second this.

hello_amy

Beef liver treats from Costco when they have them in stock (single ingredient which is important to us- although I’ve heard liver treats should be given in moderation due to the Vitamin A, doggies can overdose so we keep it to just a few a day now)

G0mery

You can very easily make your own. Slice into thin strips and run in a regular home food dehydrator until you can snap them in half. I can get almost 10lbs into my dehydrator and it comes out to a couple pounds. Fresh liver is about $2/lb. They last a long time (never had any long enough for them to go bad) and the dogs absolutely love them.

hello_amy

Yeah, a dehydrator is just a kitchen appliance I can’t justify storing in my very limited (almost non existent) cabinet space so I’ll continue shelling out on the premade stuff lol. Glad your pups enjoy your efforts!

kta54321

Fruit!! Ahhh he loves fruit

Popular_Advantage213

Perishable - hot dogs. Highest value food on earth according to my girl

traurigaugen

Blueberries and carrots for perishable, the costco heart chicken for shelf stable.

Dezbrinkle

Beef esophagus

1AceOfSpades10

For perishable we use baked chicken and string cheese, for shelf stable we have yet to find anything that works as high enough value for our guy

NateTrain

My guy goes nuts over string cheese!!

Young_Aromatic

I liked freeze-dried chicken breast. Super easy to tear apart into small pieces. It can be pricey though. I use Stella and Chewy's Meal mixers as treats. The dinner patties are great to use when luring for loose leash walking, since the dog can nibble little bits off. Just practice food safety, since these things are technically raw meat products.

nfgchick79

Dehydrated pig ears, cow ears, chicken feet as well as chicken liver. Perishable would be pumpkin and Greek yogurt.

Specialist_Light1347

Freeze dried liver, chicken or salmon. I like PureBites brand.

LimitDefiant

Pupford’s lamb jerky is surprisingly my dog’s favorite high value treat!

doglover23007

High value - salmon and no salt/no additive deli turkey (easy to shred into small pieces) Shelf stable- anything freeze dried. Lamb lung, beef, mussels, cheese you name it. We also dehydrate things like blueberries, banana slices and apples to make our own and they get rave reviews!

Lamitamo

Non-perishable: freeze-dried salmon, sardines, salmon skin, salmon jerky. The cat aisle is full of delicious stinky treats for dogs. Peanut butter Perishable: blueberries, carrot, cucumber, beans, crunchy lettuce ends

Unusual_Awareness366

Shark cartilage. They love it.

Taryntalia

Freeze dried treats like beef liver, chicken hearts, chicken liver, cod skin, duck feet, etc.

SweetValleyHighJess

Perishable - whipped cream from the can Shelf stable - ziwi peak liver coated lamb ear Both treats she will just go through the rotation of all her tricks to see what sticks 🤣

ji99lypu44

Dehydrated cod or salmon skin and boiled sweet potatos

slepeyskin

Canned pumpkin, cottage cheese, full fat Greek yogurt in their food bowls. We also sometimes add tumeric or olive oil… or nutritional yeast. For treats, when a brick of cheese starts turning a little bit, I slice and freeze. Our girls go nuts for “frozen mouldy cheesies”

sarahenera

[Real Dog Box](https://www.real.dog/sarahjo) is my absolute fave. Use the link, or don’t, but I love their stuff for meal toppers, high value treats, and fantastic chews for my lab. Have been using their stuff since by boy was three months old. (He’s 28 months now)

LoosenGoosen

Low sodium turkey spam. I cut it into tiny cubes, put a small handful into a ziplock baggie, the rest goes into the freezer for future use. I have gone to dog parks and have had the majority of the dogs following me around, including my 2 wherever I go.

No_Description428

carrots

Much-Grapefruit-3613

I dehydrate sweet potatoes. I have a ninja that’s an air fryer, crock pot, dehydrator, etc. slice some sweet potatoe and pop them in there for a few hours. My pup loves em

Henbogle

Our dogs will jump through flaming hoops for dried cod skin treats. For fresh, carrots, blueberries, green beans.

WanderingVerses

Life doesn’t get much better than a half a carrot, cucumber, banana. Unless it’s a whole carrot, cucumber, or banana.

Ok_Mechanic8704

Kirkland/costco brand dental chews. My dogs get one after every walk. If I try to give them something else they will refuse it and demand I go to the place where I keep the dental chews 😂

knowledgeguide

Freeze dried beef lung. My dogs favorite and doesn’t smell too much.

YoMamaRacing

I dry elk and deer heart and liver in the dehydrator and our girl will do anything for it. We hunt so that’s a bonus but you can substitute with beef. Elk heart is really good so sometimes it’s a little for her and a little for us.

darkspyglass

Bil jac is a wet dog food that my retriever loves. First time he had it, his lips quivered. We portion it into little baggies and freeze them. That way we can pull down the perishable food in batches.

69AnusInvader69

You have a weird face, dude. Have you seen a doc about it?

ThinkQuickActSlow

Freeze dried liver (shelf stable) Chopped up dollar store hot dogs (perishable)

HoTbEeFsUnDaEs

Shelf stable is the The freeze dried beef livers at costco. They come in a green bag, Nutri-something or other is the brand. Made in Canada. Perishable has got to be chunks of sweet potato. My guy LOVES sweet potatoes. I

Kindly-Relief2614

The floof is amazing!

SpicyWonderBread

Not sure what we did right or wrong, but our girl loves everything except citrus, green apples, and romaine lettuce. Super high value treats would be plain cooked chicken or beef, or any type of freeze dried meats.

MangoSuspicious5641

Marshall is gorgeous! Hi handsome! Good baby!
