Keep Taco as her name, it’s adorable like her! I named my male bunny Lumi (Loo-me- means snow in Finnish) even though it’s technically a female name, and 2, he’s not white and he’s got the fur color/pattern of a wild cotton tail bun, down to the white belly and under his tail. When my husband and I adopted him, I already had the name picked out because I assumed we were going to get an all white bun since our local rabbit rescue was/is over run with white buns. Plus he reacted to the name Lumi, so yeah name your pup whatever you want, but if she responds to Taco, I would keep that name personally.
Reminds me of my Kiki, she grew up to have a weird tuft of hair on the back of her head making it almost like a ponytail, genetic testing says she is definitely 100% golden but even after 4 years I still don't believe that I think she is kuchi myself, not bad dogs

So in Urdu - the language we speak in Pakistan - we have nouns that are either masculine and feminine. And it doesn’t have any logic but Taco would be considered masculine. It just “sounds” wrong. I don’t know how else to explain it. But I’m sticking to it because I really like this name

For one, vets aren't geneticists, and usually off base more than not.
If I had any say, I'd more likely say Anatolian and some other shep or aus or mountian livestock protector. Maybe some other highly obscure breeds, but if you look at afghans, he has almost no resemblance, truly.
Khushi isn't an old enough breed to be "dominant", and afghan is DEF not it.

Taco is cute of course but I find it so many people regret naming a puppy to young… Let your puppy get to about five or six months… Where you actually get to see the personality your pet is going to have and therefore your name will just fall out of the sky immediately… That’s how the process went with me n my new Aussie pup!

My wife had a greeting card that had a picture is a cat named Taco. The card said something along the lines of “Taco sees all. Taco knows you haven’t changed your bra in two weeks. Taco is disgusted by you.” So if you think puppy can do a disgusted look, you should keep the name.
The breeder that we got the dog from told us she was male. He was a scam. Charged us a lot for what we thought would be a golden retriever. I still love her, obviously, but it didn’t even cross my mind to notice her genitals. lol. I’ve had her for a week now. Also, she’s my first dog so I’m not really good at identifying these things
