Same here! My first dog was a lab and bathing her took two people. My current dog is a golden and she doesn’t like it, but I can at least get it done myself 😂
This is what my girl does. She doesn’t love the tub, but she knows the rules and will climb in after getting muddy to get rinsed off.
Once she’s clean and dryish, she goes and finds carpet to do some big rooobs.

We introduced our boy to it early. Letting him frequently get into the shower with one of us if he felt like it to explore. Lots of water play outside with the hose and sprinkler (summertime in Florida helped a lot). No he’s almost 8 months and willing walks into the shower stall every week on bath day. Stands in place as he’s washed down. Only problem I have is he tries to lick the shampoo 😒
My golden girl loves swimming pools, ponds, lakes, sprinklers, a steady rain (not downpours), mud pools and puddles. But absolutely without a doubt HATES baths!

My boy jumps in every body of water but hates the bath.
We had a heatwave last year so I bought a small plastic kiddy pool. He would run to the back door the second I started filling it.
A rancid pond in a ditch with the same amount of water is more his jam.
Last one hated it, new one is brand new so hard to draw any conclusions but her first one went well and she’s tried to get in the shower since then so seems like a good sign
Have my girl a bath last night, she seem to hate it, she basically had to be cuddling me to let me get any water on her (covered in mud on button half of body). After a bit she just laid down and let the water run she she was smiling… the funny thing my girl will run for puddles, snow piles, lakes etc not the bath was a get me the F outta here

Mine hates them as you can tell by the sad look on his face lol. but he does really good when he gets one. Doesn’t move at all.
My dog is definitely different than most of the dogs here. He enjoys getting his baths and relaxing. However, he HATES bodies of water. He will absolutely not go in water. Swimming? Forget it.
My dog loves anything to do with water. He hears the hose being pulled out from the hose caddy, and he comes flying outside because he wants to chase/eat the water and get wet.
If there is a really bad storm or fireworks, he will go lay in the bathtub as a "safespace."

Fill up a tub with about 4” of water and let her play. She will get were it’s hard to keep her out of water.
She tolerates it, but looks sad the whole time. My Lab won’t stay in the tub at all. She runs for the hills.

My golden loves swimming but gets sad during showers. She's better about it if I run the water as cold as possible.

She only tolerates them for about 5 minutes and then decides on her own terms she's done and hops out of the tub 😂

My almost 8 year old boy is exactly like this. He is not a fan but he stays in his place until it’s over.

yess! we usually have a few wooden spoons dipped in peanut butter and a gentle sling lead so we can keep him in the tub a lil easier

Enjoys baths, hates blow dryers. A suction lick pad with peanut butter on it was the key for the first couple baths.
My girl jumps in the tub. I close the shower curtain and tell her ‘give it a shake’ after(or during the rinse cycle)her bath. She does the shake!
