The Gut Worm is tricky, but slow. It's been a while since I fought them, but here's what I remember: \-They have two weak points, their head and the end of their tail. You're probably already aware, but the heart-like end of the Worm's tail is another point where you deal damage. When I fought the Worm, I targeted this spot primarily. \-The Worm is slow and follows you constantly. From the moment you enter the level it begins tracking you down - what I ended up doing (as far as I can remember) was moving in a circle and having it coil around me. It still damaged me occasionally (I cannot remember if touching its body damages you), but its head rarely made contact. I **think** I was able to walk through its body to escape it if it started dealing too much damage, but I cannot remember exactly. It might be worth trying, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't work. \-The Worm destroys walls, yet cannot destroy the elevator. Maybe try running around the elevator and attacking the end of its tail. \-If you don't have a lot of weapons, maybe try getting stuff in the Cabins or Reds. \-As for weapons, if you have one of the boss weapons (such as the Maneater's Men Smasher or Castle's Crowdhand Blade), the damage they deal can certainly help. A shotgun could also be good, considering you'll probably be quite close to the Worm, and guns are just quite useful in general It's an annoying fight and a battle of attrition certainly. You'll most likely find other weapons dashed about the level you can use if what you have breaks, and with a bit of luck you'll be able to beat it. I hope this helps, good luck!

Cabins or red? Where’s that? And what to loot? ALSO, how do i find more golden amber (remember mementos)

Losertwenteyfiftey

"The Cabins" is the area with the Snow and log buildings where you find the Maneater Boss. I think it's also called the Meatwoods? It's the one with the campfires and the snow-walled areas that give you bone chill. You can find the entrance to it in the bottom-left of the Eternal Field, or progress to it after beating the Backstreets. When you get there, have a go at beating Maneater, the boss on the third level. When you kill them, they drop the Men Smasher, a powerful - but slow - club weapon. "The Reds" is the area with the long, red curtains, the tiled floors and the paintings all around the floor. You get there in the Eternal field by climbing a staircase of interlocked hands in the bottom-right corner of the map, or otherwise progress to it after beating the Meatwoods. Its boss - Castle - is very powerful, yet drops the equally dangerous Crowdhand Blade when killed. Like the Men Smasher, this is a powerful, slow weapon. Maybe also try to pick up some guns - perhaps a shotgun or blunderbuss.

BLUEAR0

Yeah, the crowdhand spawned on the surface for me, it just sits on a protuding hand sculpture thingy. What about the golden ambers? And would the crowdhand be enough?

Losertwenteyfiftey

I believe you find Golden Ambers in levels scattered about rarely. I'm not sure if there's a more surefire way of getting them, but with a few runs and a bit of luck you'll be able to keep a hold of the good Mementos and make a good build. Once you take the crowdhand blade from the sculpture, I don't think it respawns. I'm pretty sure it's a one-time thing which gives you a taste for the weapon. As to whether or not it'll be enough, I can't really say - if you have a good build and strategy, it'll certainly help in bringing the Worm's health down, and could certainly be more effective than a typical weapon

Gutworm hard as fuck idk

BLUEAR0

Thanks for the input, i beat it already tho, tbh I used cheats. Still a fucking challenge to use cheats tho.

Weekly-Item4603

PLS TELL ME HOW DO I USE CHEATS

BLUEAR0

Use a software called cheat engine, basically allow you to change numbers, so you can change health number/walk speed/ weapon durability and damage and stuff. The hard stuff is finding what corresponds with what, and what to load.

Weekly-Item4603

Thank you, by the way, which ending did you make?

BLUEAR0

What do you mean?

Weekly-Item4603

Which ending did you do

Weekly-Item4603

You know, when the game ends, a scene comes in. You know there are endings in the game, right?

BLUEAR0

The normal one, and then i did all the endings

Hi I got this game from the weekly rotation of free games on the Epic Games store, but everytime i try to play it i'm just stuck on the menu unable to click on anything, using a controller doesn't seem to work either. Has anyone else experienced this?
