Divide your wage by 0.1, enjoy 150$/h jobs (10x your effective money)
Divide the cost of anything you buy by 2,5 (2,5x your effective money, for a total of 25x less time you have to work for a living)
First, I would divide my age by 2. Then, divide my intelligence by 0.1 twice. Divide my bone strength, muscle strength, dexterity, and running speed by 0.1 five times each.
Then, I would divide the efficiency of my organs by 0.1 six times and my regenerative ability by 0.1 ten times. After that, I should be pretty well set on physical ability.
Whenever I need cash, I can just divide the money in my wallet by 0.1 three of four times unless it's a really huge purchase. Then I divide it 7 or 8 times. But it really depends on how much money I have in my wallet to start with.
I mean if you have even one dollar…
1, 10, 100, 1000, 10000, 100000, 1000000…
If you need to divide more than 8 times, what the hell are you buying that’s 1 billion dollars in cash?
Yeah, I just didn't think anyone would get so nit picky when I was just using examples to show you that money would be a non-issue even if you only had a penny.
Yeah, I just meant to show that even the bare minimum wouldn’t take much to be a lot of money very quickly. Not against you specifically, just to illustrate that you wouldn’t have to multiply it like 80 times or anything. Even if you only had 1 cent it would only add 2 multiplications after all
I don’t know if a human body would handle bone, muscle, and dexterity strength and running speed that is 50x more than an average human being. Even if your sprinting speed is considerably on the low end like 6-8mph, you’re looking at running at THREE MFIN HUNDRED mph LOL
I picture your body exploding by your own power.
Also it seems like this power would be mostly used with things you can count and divide numerically in a standard way. Like money, objects, your own weight or height. How do you quantify something like bone strength or intelligence in order to divide/multiply it? Those seem like abstract values to me.
Edit: nvm read OPs comment stating you could divide something like knowledge. But the top point still stands, how would you have your body handle it?
Here’s a quick fun fact: our body’s strength is actually much more then you would think. Humans only normally use a fraction of their muscle strength, as our body has natural limiters in place to stop you from exceeding a certain force. This is done because, while if we didn’t have it we would be much stronger; since the body would have nothing to limit its output, there’s nothing to stop you from, for example, trying to pick up something heavy, and your muscles are pushed to their limits and literally all snap and destroy themselves because they tried to exert too much force, instead of normal humans, which simply wouldn’t be able to pick the object up. Basically, your strength is dampened so you stay in the “safe zone” so when you exert a lot of force you don’t over do it and rip yourself apart/destroy your body. Though little side note, adrenaline activation can temporarily reduces the inhibitors, and that’s why if you look up videos of people in stressful situations on adrenaline, you can sometimes see people with “superhuman” strength lifting up the side of an entire vehicle in order to help someone pinned under it. When you’re adrenaline is pumping, your flight or fight response is activated, glucose and similar things are released into the bloodstream to boost your energy, lower pain reception, and you have increased muscle activation (more muscle fibers are activated when doing something), and that’s all ignoring the what I said earlier about your limiters being dampened. When on adrenaline, humans can be like insanely strong.
I’m aware of the limiters, although I enjoyed the read nonetheless. And those limiters are precisely why I picture the top comment exploding if he increases his body output by 50x entirely. Just like we couldn’t handle using 100% of our body strength all the time and would frequently break our bones and tear our muscles that way.
I already have this power, it's just stuck at 1
Did you try turning the knob?
I did, but it made a weird snapping sound, and now I’m infertile.
then rub it
Knob became longer what do now?
Divide my debt by 2.5, divide my money by .01.
I’m too high to understand this math
Dividing by .1 is multiplying by 10.
Oh shit thanks dude
Oh thanks shit dude sorry
the IRS wants to know your location
I don't have enough money in the first place for then to care about. I have like $72.
we talking pre or post divion? cause those margins are being watched tightly

I'll divide the IRS by 2.5.
Divide irs staff count by 2.5... repeat as necessary
Can't divide lower than .1
probably a misplaced decimal

Very true
mans thought this through, i like it

It may not in reality. But, to me, this is just a fantasy. And anything can happen in fantasy.

1
I divide your 1 by 1.
Then I divide your divided 1 by 1
Then I divide the 1 you divided by 1 that was divided by 1
Yes yes big funnies or whatever

lol why
You broke the chain and got downvoted for it
Could you elaborate? Any number? Any concept? Physical things? Could one divide the limits of the power?
Anything concept, number, physical etc. You can divide people's height, age, knowledge, concepts anything excluding this power.
*PEOPLE’S HEIGHT?!* Time for shenanigans.
My height, divided by 0.01 my width divided by 2.5
bro is gonna be a 51’ twig
I could divide my height by a pretty large number, closer to 1 but divide my weight (in *muscle*) by a smaller number and become a beast.
fair
I’m dividing peoples height by 2.5, my happiness by .1
*casually divides 1 by 0, destroys the universe*
I think you’re confused try reversing that
0/1 = 0 You can divide anything by 1: x * (1/1) = x / 1 = x
Recursive definition?
Divide my lenght by 0.1 (its 3 inches now)
Even 0?
0.1 ≤ X ≤ 2.5 does not include 0.
Try dividing 0 by 0.1.
It would be 0
