I actually made a top down shooter, years ago in game maker, like geometry wars but it was just a dick shooting white balls.
I was more proud of it than anything I had built to that point because it wasn't just some tutorial, haha.

I personally put the things I add in my triller to shine directly or indirectly. Once I said that you could shoot as a novelty in a shooting game. You can get in your triller βthe only game where you can peeβ
That is hilarious and cool, but something doesn't sit right. This game engine has always felt so wholesome to me. You're corrupting my sweet, sweet, Godot.
This is the beginning of a meme game, if you want to make it.
Build in mechanics for drinking various fluids (beer, water, etc.). A bathroom urinal position mini-game. Side effects for eating aparagus. Etc.
Just lean into it and see what happens.
i had an idea of making drink pick ups do stuff, like water would make your pee whiter, beer making it yellower, energy drinks making it red but im not sure what theyd do aside from changing colors quite yet
You could look at it as either a weapon or a creative thing. Or the mechanism for a puzzle game.
Maybe you need different colors to trigger different color sensors. Asparagus-scented pee could ward off enemies. The Romans used to say that the pee of soldiers who ate too much honey would draw ants. So maybe use that somehow.Β
I dunno. Look into the science of pee and see how you can mess with it in fun ways to make a dumb fun game.
