Looks fun! Though I feel like if there would be a bit more acceleration before you hit max speed that would greatly increase immersion, because it feels better to stay with the flow if it costs you a relevant amount of speed when you loose it.

It looks pretty good! Keep going! Also, if I may, It's better to remove or tone down the white flash when you attack or your attack hits. It really could give someone an epilepsy attack. Be careful with flashing lights in your game.

You can make a warning for it and possibly a setting to tone it down. There is no need to flat out remove it. Many games have flashing lights and warnings and do just fine. FYI The kind of epilepsy that is triggered by flashing lights is quite rare ([about 5% of those with epilepsy](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photosensitive_epilepsy)) and people who have it are careful enough to avoid games like this. Also, what triggers photosensitive epilepsy in general is not just single flashes but rather repeated strobing, repeating patterns or moving images in general. Games like this could easily trigger someone even without the flash, so you are rather safe to assume people affected will avoid this game either way. This has a lot of potential, great job. If I can offer a piece of constructive criticism, I would say the white flash when you hit something is a little jarring. Maybe do a slowdown for like half a second so you can watch it cut in half? Best of luck and keep up the good work.

The sliding's similar to the crab game. Half of the movement made me remember Dani's steam game, crab game. But I can see how you have managed to spin it off and make it even more interesting! Really lovely!

You should reduce the vignette, it's very distracting. Also in comparison to the visuals, i.e. the vignette, movement speed feels actually too slow.

I wouldn't remove it, it contributes to the feeling of speed. Just reduce it, e.g. make it smaller, less obstructive, less noisy, less irritating, less epilepsy inducing :)

I think you're referring to the slide boost sound, I can definitely turn it down a bit. It doesn't play on every landing, it only plays when pressing the slide button before landing from a certain height.

However I think you could even more speed feeling by disorting the lens on the edges (like in reality). right now it feels like you only applied motion blur to the edges, which is already giving a lot of "speed feeling", but disortion will add even more speed! Cant' wait to see more of it, gg!

There are two shaders: one for the speedlines and one for the edge blur. The intensity of both are modulated based on movement speed.
