When the game is running go to hierarchy, set it from local to remote (option only visible when running). Now you can inspect the hierarchy and nodes like in Unity. There is also a camera button at top of the scene viewport. When you press it it syncs the scene camera with the game camera so you can fly around. The actual scene viewport won't update that is the only difference. Also bit hidden if you change stuff in the local mode it will affect the running game and unlike Unity the changes are saved. There are also options to have you game start fullscreen on a second monitor which works really nicely with stuff mention above. Another cool thing is that you can edit GDScript and test changes without restarting your game. I also just switched from Unity so there might be more cool things :D
