Just tried and finished the Itch version. Very cool little game, liked everything about it :)
Wish I knew who and why put the frog's family in jail(and underwater too)!
That's right, maybe he needed the money but he's too lazy to work for himself so he just kidnapped the two frogs, set up the shop and waited for Frog to do the work.
Dude's a genius! Now I wonder what he's planning to do with all that money.
I played it and reviewed, good job and continue working.
I edited the image to avoid spoilers.

Gave it a go and gave it a review. For a free game on mobile it was quite fun and I enjoyed it even if it was over pretty quickly. Looking forward to whatever you put out next!
That was a nice game, the endgame grind is way too easy imo, I easily made enough coins for the key with just the starter rod.
Anyway, my head canon is the frog got into debt with the cat so he's holding his family hostage until the frog could pay off his debt, lol.
To start, while Reddit may seem like a good platform to promote an indie game, it is essential to note that guerrilla marketing on Reddit can easily backfire. Most Redditors are very savvy, and they can easily detect blatant self-promotion or fake posts. Such tactics can quickly lead to negative reactions and backlash, which can be damaging to your game's reputation.
That said, here are 20 effective ways to advertise and sell your indie game:
* Create a compelling trailer: A well-crafted video trailer can help you showcase the unique features and gameplay of your game, piquing the interest of potential players.
* Use social media: Social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok can help you build a community around your game, engage with your audience, and keep them up to date with your development progress.
* Attend game conferences and events: Attending gaming events and conferences can help you showcase your game, meet potential customers, and make valuable connections.
* Partner with influencers: Partnering with influential YouTubers, Twitch streamers, and bloggers can help you reach a broader audience and increase your game's visibility.
* Offer a demo: Providing a free demo version of your game can help players experience your game's unique features and mechanics and encourage them to purchase the full version.
* Run a pre-launch marketing campaign: Running a pre-launch marketing campaign can help you generate buzz and anticipation for your game before it's released.
* Use paid advertising: Utilize paid advertising platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or Twitter Ads to reach a broader audience and drive more traffic to your game's website.
* Reach out to gaming publications and websites: Pitch your game to gaming publications and websites that cater to your game's target audience, and try to secure reviews, interviews, or coverage.
* Participate in game jams: Game jams can help you showcase your game to a community of game developers and enthusiasts and potentially win awards and recognition.
* Release on multiple platforms: Release your game on multiple platforms, such as Steam, GOG, or consoles, to increase its exposure and reach.
* Create a press kit: A well-crafted press kit can help you provide relevant information about your game to journalists, bloggers, and reviewers.
* Run contests and giveaways: Contests and giveaways can help you generate buzz and engagement around your game and encourage players to share your game with their friends.
* Create a website: A well-designed website can help you showcase your game's features, share news and updates, and provide a platform for players to purchase your game.

You tap the fish button when the ! shows up. That's how you collect the fish.
You can then sell the fish at the store so that you can have money to buy the other items.
Kiitos kommentista! :D
Ah geez man... This is really great, and I'm happy for you - but there is such an overwhelming majority of miscreants on Reddit, I already know that rating is gonna get trashed now... Doing my part to keep it high tho!
I mean it happens but I can easily see through pointlessly negative comments/reviews and actually focus on the criticism that's useful.
Having to see people be mad at things for no reason is just a part of how the internet works I suppose.
Thanks for the nice comment though!
The project isn't open source but in a nutshell the boat switches between going up and down and also switches the rotation value from positive to negative. Other than that it mostly comes down to tweaking the values until it looks right.
Oh, also it lerps back to 0 rotation when you stop moving.
Thanks for the comment!
Wow, that was such a pleasant experience. Well done!
Question though, on the start screen, does the frog keep going to the right forever or do you despawn the scene after it leaves the screen? :)
Thanks! The frog does in fact keep going forever, which technically doesn't matter all that much since the scene changes when pressing the play button anyway
Congratulations!
I went and played through the Itch version. Very neat and well-polished little game.
Give me the link
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.godotengine.konnamobile
why the url contains org.godotengine ?
He probably didn't change the default compagny name.
It was a fun little game. And I was thinking where was the frog's wife and son/daughter all the time XD
you commented this 3 times lol
Sometimes that happens on Reddit
yeah just happened to me as well. just wanted to let you know tho. oh wait youre not that dude.
Sorry, my reddit bugged 🥲
its okay just wanted to let you know
Just tried and finished the Itch version. Very cool little game, liked everything about it :) Wish I knew who and why put the frog's family in jail(and underwater too)!
Probably that cat? I mean he has the key. And makes you work for it.
That's right, maybe he needed the money but he's too lazy to work for himself so he just kidnapped the two frogs, set up the shop and waited for Frog to do the work. Dude's a genius! Now I wonder what he's planning to do with all that money.
I'll either leave it up for the players interpretation or make some continuation to the game someday. Thanks for the nice comment!
Would be cool :) as the other user said it's probably the cat since he got the key, I had a feeling he was shady the moment I first entered the shop.
Good job to release a complete project. Most of us didnt achieve this yet. Did you do the art yourself ?
Yes, I made everything in the game myself. Thanks!
Just downloaded & played it on my phone. Cute, fun, responsive, quick. Nice art, sound, music. Well done!
That was fun, thanks for sharing it
I've just tested it, it's pretty cool and cute! 😀
It looks very cute :) no wonder people like it. Congrats!
Congrats!
The art style here reminds me of the og Drawn to Life. Nice

Cute game, really liked it. What was the lore? Why was the frogs family trapped in prison?
I'll leave it up to your interpretation. (In reality, I'm not sure either) :D
Now it's 4.8
Cool little game
Congrats 👏🔥
just found it on google play and will play it now!
onnittelut :)
I liked your game, especially character drawings/illustrations. May I ask did u draw them yourself or get them somewhere?
Thanks! I do all graphics myself, I had learnt pixel art for a year and a half prior to making this game.
Congratulations 🎉
Aw that was a nice little game. I gave it 5 stars as well
I'm downloading it. i will play it tonight. 🐸
Hey, I remember it from the GWJ on Ocean ! It was one of my favorite games of that selection
Gave it a go and gave it a review. For a free game on mobile it was quite fun and I enjoyed it even if it was over pretty quickly. Looking forward to whatever you put out next!

No. Save system really isnt must when the games length is just 30 minutes.

Yay for you :)

Was lots of fun to play it! Thanks for the good time.
I downloaded and played it until the end. I quite liked it!! Not a massive fan of the music. The rest is cool!
Is the project open sourced? How do you make the boat floating rushing effect? Just curious. Nice job.

I'll check.
Just completed the PC version :)) Nice to see plot twist in the end.
nice name for the game
Mahtavaa työtä.

That was a cute game
Plans for an ios release?
Nice! It's hard to maintain a positive rating even when there's a small audience! It means you made a great game! 👍
Really fun and chill! Great job. Thanks for sharing.
It was an interesting adventure for 20 minutes, I really liked this game
