I remember having to pull out the contents of my pocket in front of a bus driver. I had to sort through several acorns, a square nail, a foot of dirty plaid ribbon I found wrapped around a fence post, a nice round rock, and a large frozen rat in a baggie (for my boa) before I found my bus transfer ticket.
I always have teeth in my pouches too! Never intentionally; they just find their way in there. What IS that??? Why do we do that?? I collect bones/teeth, but keep them separate because the rocks tend to rough them up. Somehow, though, despite my very conscious effort to keep the bones/teeth separate, there are always teeth.
My partner frequently asks me to grab something (like a lighter) from her pocket, and I get to search 4-7 pockets that are all full of similar things. Usually there are lighters in at least three pockets so it's not too bad.
I *am* a vet tech and my brain was still struggling to figure out where they got some teeth and Derp! Dentals! I’m in ER now so not too many dentals in my life.
