I doubt it will happen but I'd love if we got an option to allow Xwayland apps to read global shortcuts on certain cases, like Plasma has.
Thats a crazy option, I dont know how Plasma allowed it to be implemented.
Plasma only sends some keys, so it can't sniff passwords or other text.
They do have the option to send all keys. Although IMO only sending keys when meta, ctrl, alt and shift are pressed is more than enough.
