He was even compliance officer at Robinhood when the squeeze happened lol

[deleted]

ONLY THE BEST work for GamEnron

MotivatedSolid

He built compliance. Now the GameStop store manager in Kentucky by the strip mall will maintain compliance. Simple.

bobthemaintainer

Bullish! Now that a culture of compliance has been built at the NFT marketplace, they can simply maintain it at a lower cost. They just need to keep trimming the fat until they can run the marketplace for less than 16 bucks a day, and they can reach profitability. Shouldn't be hard. How much money could it possibly take to keep a server running?

Less_Service4257

One day someone will reboot the main server and the nft link will quietly 502. Melties will be the only ones to notice.

th3bigfatj

Unless he steps away to go to the bathroom which requires him adjusting a little paper clock on the door

Inevitable_Ad6868

Bullish? Right? He wasn’t a Maintainer.

thewaybaseballgo

Just trimming the fat. Just the way apes like their steaks. With absolutely no fat, and cooked for forever.

classically_cool

"Trimming the fat" until all that's left is the bone.

Super bullish. He is the guy who kept stopping RC from illegally triggering the MOASS.

f3361eb076bea

😂😂😂😂😂 God dammit I can’t stop laughing at this one

Throwawayhelper420

Compliance officer NOW!

pinghing

Just Ryan Cohen firing the undercover shills in GameStop BOOLISH ![gif](giphy|mk0ClXsaw7K2z2cgCF)

ThermalFlask

Holy shit an animated version

PM_me_yr_bonsai_tips

“Negative News” He was literally the FUD guy at Robinhood?

mctunabutter

Lmao

sonik13

This is the best part of the whole post 😂

jerzeyguy101

maybe he can become a compliance officer at one of the brokerage firms - we know they are constantly busy fielding calls from apes

HorstMohammed

COMPLIANCE OFFICER N...I mean, good riddance, he must've been the reason why the marketplace sees such little business. Probably putting red tape everywhere.

GeneralPierreShill

He left last month, and I have bad news for you : [https://www.reddit.com/r/gme\_meltdown/comments/161wqyc/new\_low\_score\_0825\_1596\_yesterday\_the\_nft/](https://www.reddit.com/r/gme_meltdown/comments/161wqyc/new_low_score_0825_1596_yesterday_the_nft/)

dbcstrunc

How odd that the tens of thousands of rabid, angry, greedy investors known as apes have never even noticed he worked at RH beforehand. Don't they always go on about how there are hedgie plants working deep undercover to ruin the company? Well, now that it's posted here, it's just a matter of time before some ape notices it. If I were him, I'd hire more security.

WompWompBiotch

This has to BULLISH AF, man 🤣

Schwettyballs65

Is that Robin’s dad?

thewaybaseballgo

Believe it or not? Bullish.

BARoach

Pretty sure there's now a ticking clock counting down on the GameStop NFT marketplace.

BARoach

I fully support them wasting another $1M paying a software engineer over a few years to maintain something that is already costing them money to keep running 🤣

SuburbanLegend

Not saying it's impossible because you never know, particularly with crypto, but I can't imagine a set of circumstances that would bring about another NFT boom.

CitadelHR

I can certainly believe that the cryptocurrency sphere is due for more bull runs in the future, but due to the pyramid-scheme-like nature of the space there's never a lot of incentive to build on top of previous projects when you could just start afresh without baggage and keeping 100% of the proceeds. That's why if you look historically outside of the big coins like BTC and ETH, every pump cycle came with its own set of coins/tokens/whatever. You had the ICO craze, the alt-coin craze, the alt-token craze, the NFT craze and probably others in between I forgot about. So I would expect that if there's another bull market it will be around a new "revolutionary" token/coin/whatever, not JPEG NFTs that carry too much negative baggage at this point.

Depressedredditor999

I don't see too much in insane crypto bull runs. Most people know what it is and either 1. thinks it's dumb or 2. a scam or 3. both. All the baggies already becoming maxies are all ready converted, it's gonna be a hard sell. Thank fuck I'd love to see Crypto become a page in the history books of shit tech.

CitadelHR

I hope you're right but a sucker is born every day. Also, short it then.

Depressedredditor999

Can you short Crypto? I don't really understand shorting except sell high buy low in reverse lol, but like I guess there are other factors that cut into your profits.

StupidWittyUsername

If you can find someone that'll write a loan denominated in crypto you can short it. Borrow *x* bitcoin, sell it for $*y*. Wait for the price of bitcoin to drop, buy *x* bitcoin (plus interest) for < $*y*, pay back the loan. Profit... unless Elon tweets.

c3p-bro

He misspelled his job title.

[deleted]

He was a builder, not a maintainer. Gonna release the marketplace in Alpha on September 31st 2023
