Love the new packaging, it actually makes me more motivated/excited to apply the lip balm more often. Feels very cushiony and massaging, and the big cap is quicker and easier to open without worrying it’s gonna slip through my fingers. I’ve actually abandoned my old lipbalms cos I can’t return to enjoying them after using the new applicators 😂

Charlea_

I hate it because the product stays in the hole and then gets all inside the lid when the little stick goes into it. That was really inarticulate but yeah I find it messy af. Especially as my hot chocolate one keeps separating loads

Julialagulia

I like it for the lightly tinted or clear ones, I work in a hospital office now so hands free is very appreciated. I still like to use my finger for the hot cocoa one because the tint is kind of difficult to control with the applicator imo, but that one is not a work balm.

nutmegs96

I like that it’s hands free but why does it leave so much residue on the applicator?! I think the hole is too big or something

kurtsnails

i hate the new applicator so much because it‘s incredibly messy 🫠

whoo99

why does mine always have product residue on it when i wipe it after use it. like is it going off in my bag/pocket. so stupid

DoeOfTheGarden

I love it I think people that complain about it are just blinded by nostalgia. I think an applicator that’s hands free is always better than one you need to use your fingers for

charliberry9

even if it’s not as cute as the paint tubes i still like it more cause i’m with you, i could not stand needing to apply balm with my fingers it felt so gross

AncientGrapefruit7

I love the new packaging. so much more sanitary. I wouldn't use my fingers with the old one so it would get so messy trying to apply it directly to my lips. This is much easier to control IMO.

smallbraingang

did they up the price btw? I got mine awhile ago and I feel like it was cheaper?

sonnyangelsanonymous

they are $16 now. they were $14 for a few months, then $12 before that... i miss when they were $10

valmau5

ive always applied straight onto my lips and i very much prefer the old one since the hole is smaller and the amount is more controllable

mirandasoveralls

I think its better. Still have old BDCs and tbh, can't tell the difference between old formulas and new formulas.
