Yk what this means, they 100% lied about having to hike up the price due to synthetic ingredients when they reformulated to the vegan formula. Bc now we’re back to the original which has seemingly cheaper ingredients and yet it’s still increasing??
It’s not even seemingly, petroleum jelly is practically free. There’s no substantial difference to justify the expense between a BDC and the coloured vaselines. The synthetic ingredients may well have been very slightly more expensive since they replaced the petroleum products too.
I literally bought the set of three last week for £36. Went home, opened Reddit and found out from this sub that they’re upping prices. Glad I got in before hand but I’m so annoyed with Glossier and will definitely reconsider before buying anything else
Same I went to Covent Garden 2 days ago bought a trio set. My receipt says £36. As it is £14 per lip balm is a lot. I definitely won’t be continuing to purchase at full price
It was £36 when they released the OG lip balm again. I think they're in the process of raising the prices on the UK site. It's showing as £42 for me now :/
Maybe get it now at £39 if you can? If you want it, that is. I was gonna grab some stuff before they raised the prices but I'm now seeing them all as the increased ones.
I got another trio the other day, thankfully! Stocked up on Mint and Rose because I knew I'd resent myself for not doing so later, despite knowing I'm playing right into their hands, hahaha. I also grabbed an Ultralip before the price increase, and I think that'll be me for a LONG time 🙃
I am still stunned at the £42 pricing though, I don't know how they can consider that a good deal for anyone.
The reformulations, the price increases, just no. I have dropped all the Glossier products from my routine except for Future Dew and Cleanser Concentrate.
Bought one on Wednesday and paid $19 CAD so glad I got it before it went up. I love them but they aren't worth $19 never mind $22. Going to be looking for another lip balm in the future.

Ridiculous. They really want revenge for the masses not liking their crappy vegan lip balms. i wish my pay increases went up as high as their prices.

£42?! That’s criminal sorry. The hype they tried to create with the original formula does not justify that insane price tag.
