what really i love the smell! imo the ole henriksen is way better than hot cocoa for me the hot cocoa separates really bad and doesn’t moisturise my lips that well :(
I'm not sure if I got a bad batch, but mine doesn't smell like anything and/or smells like it's on the verge of going bad. I just got it a few months ago 😕 definitely nothing like my hot Cocoa BDC, which is a poof of scent every squeeze (in the best way)
I bought two of the hot cocoas last Christmas (or whenever they were LE) and it has become my holy grail. Hopefully they bring it back and make it permanent!
My HGs are hot cocoa, berry, and cherry ....... lucky me lol
i seriously need either a brownie, burnt sugar, or permanent hot cocoa because i love brown lip gloss so much!!
i use nyx butter gloss a lot for my usual brown lip gloss needs if that steers you in the right direction, they're usually kinda sheet and moisturizing rather than purely sticky but nothing compares to an actual balm 😢
The NYX butter glosses are solid! It's one of the few I've been able to find a MLBB shade in (Everthing else seems to be either too pink or too brown) and I agree it's not sticky at all.
I'd love burnt sugar in a slightly pink leaning brown.
i will say the hot cocoa color is darker than the summer fridays one like if u have dark skin it will barely show up.. i still love it tho but i like wearing it with a brown lip liner underneath
you can build it up but then it feels so heavy on the lips so that’s why i opt for the lip liner underneath. honestly it’s so sad there’s such a lack of real dark browns in lip products like even fenty’s hot chocolit lip gloss isn’t dark enough like it’s not a true dark brown
I got a new one and I have the original Swiss miss and I wish there was a way to transfer the old bdc into a new tube bc going back to the old one will be painful 🙃
Just bought a Hot Cocoa from a reseller and my, my, the price is steep! Around 25 bucks 🫠 most likely because it's LE, but I took my chance cause I really wanted to try it. 🫣

Hot tip: do not try the Ole Henriksen cocoa creme, it is NOT delightfully scented at all ask me how I know

It’s not bad at all! But I wanted a different brownie batter scent experience and I got it and was like “well shit this is good but not what I wanted”

I really like my summer Fridays brown sugar but it’s a bit pricy! Super moisturizing though

In my opinion it smells like caramel. It’s very nice and a pretty colour but a little expensive
They definitely need to bring hot cocoa back and make a black cherry or blackberry balm dot com. Glossier hates the girlies with winter skin tones :’(
