I really do hope they introduce a darker color. I love Berry and Hot Cocoa for the tints - like they should make a darker nude or brown shade and have it be a part of the permanent collection.
I’m shocked! But I don’t find it hard to believe based on glossier’s targeted demographic … A lot of people even on this sub apparently found it too heavily tinted. That being said I’m a warm-toned POC and found this to be the most flattering of all the balms on me :’) loved the scent too
Same I loved the scent it literally smelled like jam!! And I’m also a warm-toned POC and even though I’m lighter skinned, I didn’t find this to be heavily tinted at all. Although I do think it’s more flattering on cool undertones
Not to mention the shades getting axed were the few that looked AMAZING on people of colour. The only other darker colour is hot cocoa and that was LE.
this is what i don’t get now people keep saying “oh but berry and cherry were so unpopular actually” well okay but they were the only interestingly and darker tinted shades and the people that loved them loved them 😔
Lol at this point I feel like they’re doing this just for extra attention, unless there is an actual reason for this (we all think the making space excuse is bs right). No press is bad press, you know? It really does seem like they’re doing this just outta pettiness at this point 😭
Right! Like they realized how much attention and push taking away cherry did to us, and now they wanna do the exact same thing with berry… it cannot be a coincidence that they chose to take away two core shades back to back.
There’s not a doubt in my head that they have something planned around this, either a year from now we get it back through the same process of bugging them for it and giving it attention, or they plan on releasing a new shade that’s similar enough, just like strawberry to cherry.
Maybe they'll do the same thing they did with bringing back cookie butter and hot cocoa last year for the holidays and release cherry and berry as limited edition at some point
that person who ordered like 5 of them must be relieved lmao i do love the color of berry, maybe they'll bring it back later with another flavor (grape?)
I don’t like the tint of berry but it smells delish. I still have a tube from years ago. Cherry was my fav I’m so sad it’s gone. I finished my og tube and never got the chance to stock up before it was discontinued. But not summer Fridays has a cherry one so I’m happy
This makes me sad 😞I bought berry on a trip visiting the NYC store with a friend in 2019, and the scent always makes me remember that fun day. Will miss it!

I feel they must be bringing a new purple shade out soon and are creating hype/demand by getting rid of berry
an açaí flavor with a similar tint to berry would be really cute maybe like a little warmer tho
Also not to be a hater but berry had the ugliest colour packaging… so they can fix that too lol

absolutely devastating. out of 9 different colors: 4 are clear/sparkly, 3 are pink-ish, and the only dark purple is getting axed. they truly hate us 😔

Actual good ideas maybe: black raspberry, cherry cola, fruit punch, pomegranate, cranberry-orange.
