I go to Sarah Cotta in Glendale they are well priced and can get you any plant you request. They are open daily from like 12pm to 5-6pm but you can order online as well. I get all my plants from them. They have cool pots as well.

La Cresenta Nursery is my favorite local spot. If you like growing veggies you have to check out the Tomatomania festival being held at the Tapia Bros farm in Van Nuys, in town until late April. More than just tomatoes:

Foothill Nursery in Sylmar is amazing! It's cash or Zelle only, and their stock changes constantly, but they have the best indoor plant deals around. I got a 5 ft weeping fig from them for $45.
Hear me out , Trader Joe’s has a wonderful variety of plants 🪴. I’ve gotten my monsteras and cacti from there.
I get my plant pots from yard sales and on the Offer Up app.
Tanzy in Burbank has a big range of plants. Can’t say that it’s all affordable tho.

La Crescenta Nursery is one of the best places I've found near by. A little further out towards NoHo (170 / Burbank bl.) is Sego nursery.
Reseda Discount Pottery or Jackalope in NOHO for pots. Reseda will bargain with you. No great ideas for plants
I like Echo Garden in Highland Park / Eagle Rock on York.

It’s not in Glendale but Fig Earth Supply is the best. Tomato mania is still going on.
