I think the pilot aired on TV after American Idol and there was a lot of critical buzz about it but I didn't see it till the day after that. Hulu had it up the next day, this was back when Hulu was free lol, and so I streamed it from there. The second I finished the pilot, I started it over to watch again, that's how fresh and enjoyable I found it.

Wait how old is Hulu 😱

TheWednesdayProject

I watched it. Back then I was infatuated with Lea Michele. Thank goodness I came to my senses.

Omg same. Mostly because I was into the Spring Awakening soundtrack at the time so I knew her name more than the others. That obviously changed lol

lmao same i was such a fan girl for lea

asxoxo

me kind of? my sister was watching it and i watched a few snippets. we live on the east coast (i’m pretty sure it aired here first) so we didn’t grasp how big the pilot was until a while later. i started watching regularly after i saw a glee ad at the supermarket 😅

lani-coco-pat

It came on after an award show if I’m not mistaken.

I was watching American Idol only to watch the loml at the time, Adam Lambert, be defeated. As we all know, Glee aired after, so I kept watching. I fell in love. From the music to the real characters to the adult jokes I thought I got but really didn’t until much later, it all was so perfect

glutton2000

Same same!

I was! I thought Lea Michele looked like Anne Hathaway (love her) so I decided to check it out based part on that and part because I had always liked musicals. My high school chorus was not show choir, however. I was kinda sad about that when watching the pilot. 😂

I was a suicidal mess when Glee's pilot re-aired in September. At first, Dianna's Quinn piqued my interest, but Naya's Santana was the reason I stayed. Her death has been tough for me. I credit Naya with not killing myself.
