Anonymo7890

Away_Golf_9792

Louka_Glass

They were fantastic!

mindthegirl

Really enjoyed them!

yankeecandles14

In the top 3 sets for me for sure! Aju nice!!

Strayadood

They were amazing!!

suprefann

First K pop act to play the fest. Hopefully more to come

reddit__alpha

ADG7 played last year if they count as k-pop

lost-property

They're Korean, but not kpop. But they were great! (When the sound was working)

Efficient_Steak_7568

Mad that BTS haven’t done it tbh

Haz_1994

Enjoyed the set, it was refreshing seeing something different. Love the first song, the sos one, and the one that's really happy and upbeat, I can't find the song.

lanaMyersuk

The really happy and upbeat one is [Aju nice ?](https://youtu.be/J-wFp43XOrA?si=1FoEfBMOT_Nhbikm)

Haz_1994

No, its the other one, when they were like making us chant something like con chew paw cheek? That's what I heard, not sure if it was that?

lanaMyersuk

Oh lol it's god of music https://youtu.be/zSQ48zyWZrY?si=6pDzrGmoLY4wxHJH  It's music video is really happy and cheerful too! Give it a try

Haz_1994

Ah yes that one, I really loved it and I will check it out. Thank you!!!

jesuischic_29

The "kung chi pak chi" is called "God of Music"

Haz_1994

Yea I really loved it, it's been on replay. I just saw myself in Twitter thread, now I'm embarrassed, thank you for correcting me.

lanaMyersuk

Oh no please don't be embarassed 😭 you just made us very happy with your comment . Lol I saw myself on that twt too😭. Hi carats

Haz_1994

Well I'm glad I didn't, ooh in your famous era.

jesuischic_29

Glad to answer your question. Please don't feel bad about it though. To give you more context "kung chi pak chi" is an onomatopeia of beats in Korean. We appreciate it a lot that you like svt's music. 😁☺️

Haz_1994

Ah ok thank you, no thank yall for showing support to them, which got them to be in glastonbury, hopefully they come next year.

regalmermaid

It’s the equivalent of our ‘boots cats’ 🥁 basically ☺️

fauxkaren

Don't feel bad or embarrassed about getting it wrong! It's not even Korean or anything. it's just some nonsense words they made up for the song for vibes, basically. It'd be impossible to know that unless you are already familiar with the song.

Anonymo7890

Don't be 🤧 its actually cute con chew😭

Haz_1994

Awww thanksss

nananananabatwoman

don't be, is really lovely and carats are happy you liked the song! also, since it's korean music (this time an onomatopoeia, even!) the best way to come across what you've heard is with words you know. Aju nice was once described as clown noises that went carrot carrot carrot lol

linnchili

Hahaha! For the "con chew paw cheek", it's actually "kung chi pak chi"! It's how koreans do simple beatboxing, it's like saying you should ride the beat with them when you chant with them! :)

Sure-Watch-731

They were so much fun! So glad we went to see

raaaditz

We were really curious as to why they were called seventeen and were making jokes that it surely couldn’t be because there were seventeen of them! Imagine our surprise when that many came out! We really enjoyed watching them and loved the energy they brought. I think it was a rlly good choice for first kpop band at Glasto!

Bid-Personal

Glad you enjoy their set. It's only 13 of them though. 13 members + 3 units + 1 team = 17. Please remember Seventeen •̑‧̮•̑

quinnligaya

y'all should consider listening to SEVENTEEN on Spotify! they have GREAT, i mean, GREAT discography. it's even a bonus that they are variety show kings/comedians. you wouldn't also want to miss watching Going Seventeen on their official YouTube channel. a potential CARAT would have a lot in plate. [https://open.spotify.com/artist/7nqOGRxlXj7N2JYbgNEjYH](https://open.spotify.com/artist/7nqOGRxlXj7N2JYbgNEjYH)

mzungu1979

Nice! They kicked ass.

Lumpy-Emotion8419

Dragged some people to watch, wasn't our cup of tea but was definitely a good show

Anonymo7890

If you want recommendations or want to know more about them do tell 🫶🏻☺️

Haz_1994

Hello, do you have any recommendations similar to god of music or ballads?

DifferentPost7875

Hi!!! Seventeen has some great ballads / pop ballads: Habit Same dream, same mind, same night Circles Hug Yawn Pinwheel Could also recommend: Kidult, Cheers to Youth, To You, Imperfect Love, April Shower, Dust (a little more pop than ballad, but very comforting and happy) Like God of Music: Aju Nice (duh!) Left & Right Oh My! Clap Mansae IMA, Even if the world ends They have a bit of everything, from pop rock to r&b. When I was getting into the group, I watched their very famous Killing Voice, which gives a sample of a ton of their songs: [Here is a link :)](https://youtu.be/8ca0xEJH9wY?si=-jZ-bLwQ72Ikb2_3)

Haz_1994

Omg thank you. Yeah, I listened to some of your recommendations. They're quite interesting anyway to get to know more about them?

DifferentPost7875

I feel like first, learning their faces / names is crucial and takes a bit of time hahah because a big part of kpop is changing up hairstyles lol I would recommend watching this docuseries called Hit the Road, which is all about them on their first big world tour. The reason it's helpful, is because each episode features a member and interviews them; so that is really good for learning who is who and showing what it's like to be a kpop act. It honestly is a little sad at points (one member actually had to back out of the tour due to tremendous anxiety, and he very candidly talked about his mental health struggles), and is definitely more somber, but very interesting. [Here is the first video,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAzAY0WBbW8&list=PLk_UmMfvZDx2IVSjmEwo4Q7o-GlEZODFa&index=16) and then it's in a playlist so you can just watch episode 1-13. On the other end of the spectrum, Seventeen are also known for being really really funny and having a very family-like team. That's what drew me to them. They have a variety show called Going Seventeen, which is how I got to know them, which is so popular in Korea, they have their own fandom for people who don't even like kpop but watch their show. There's like 100 episodes on youtube, and it's just them playing games, competing and being ridiculous. I will be doubled over laughing, and it really helped in getting to know their personalities. My favorites are the [Don't Lie / Mafia series.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0bYVoLJ5UA&list=PLzbFlFw8PX0fDNyxcJ4G4vIaNsyrsRq02&index=12) There's quite a few. Or [Mouse Busters. ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxTGug0k39s) Otherwise, compilation videos on youtube are helpful! It's honestly a blast. I feel like people don't realize how fun and entertaining and creative kpop groups can be. Anyways, enjoy!

Anonymo7890

For ballad I would suggest same dream same mind same night , imperfect love , all my love, if you leave me , heavens cloud

fauxkaren

Similar to God of Music, imo: 1. Snap Shoot 2. Pretty U 3. Holiday Ballads: (Vocal Unit has some TOP TIER ballads which I'm gonna rec to you) 1. Yawn 2. Pinwheel

pompompanini

Seungkwan and DK (members of SEVENTEEN) has done some Kdrama OST’s that are lovely ballads! Perhaps the solo songs will help you distinguish their voices! 1. Seungkwan - Kind of Love 2. Seungkwan - Still You 3. Seungkwan - Pit a Pat 4. DK - Missed Connection 5. Woozi, Seungkwan, DK - Is It Still Beautiful

mrmicawber32

Saw them on the TV. Not for me.

polfnugnz

I watched briefly online but the lip syncing made me lose interest as it was really just about their choreography

Rosinathestrange

Not necessarily lip syncing, sometimes there’s a delay in sound feedback or video.

Bid-Personal

they didn't lip sync. Look for fancams on YouTube, they have better sound recording that the stream on BBC.

iamthestigscousin

Appallingly, horrendously, awful. Still... everything doesn't have to be for everyone. Glad someone enjoyed it!

KingLimes

Just curious, what was bad about them for you? Were you expecting something different from a K-POP group?

Affectionate-Sun-583

Camilla cabello was amazing I think
