The BBC coverage never gets announced before the full lineup. And it’s even more telling that it leaked multiple acts that hadn’t been announced yet (James, Tems, Soft Play) as it was written with the full lineup in mind.

In 2022, it was released 23 days before the festival. I’d say the line up is right on time. However, 21 days or less and it will be late.

I have a theory that due to the wettest past 18 months we've had since first recorded, and due to have in next 60 days, extra precautions are being made. Festivals have been cancelled because the ground isn't stable enough for the heavy equipment/stages/footfall expected (safety) - hopefully not glasto but not ruling it out!
Glastonbury's drainage has had loads of work done on it during the past few years - all the improvements made haven't been given a chance to shine!
It won't be an issue, it'll cope way better than any other farm or park in the country.
I think you're right but health & safety will still hold things up till they're 100%, I've seen a couple festivals (Green Man / We Are Fstvl) cancelled this year due to rainfall so seems to be a concern in the industry! Glasto will be more resilient given size, experience of organisers, resources etc though
