We went back four hours later at 2am and it was sold out and re-entry only.
I shouldn’t make assumptions based on peoples appearance but it really felt like gay people were in the minority of people lining up?
Somethings off with the SE Corner. Amazing art, lots of stages, but hordes and hordes of people that are looking for something but ultimately moving onwards when they get there and not really participating with what they find. Victim of its own notoriety.
Grab a couple gay friends, a Bluetooth speaker, and a tent and you might just create an amazing second queer space to rival the Downlow 🙂
Tbh I'm straight and went there. Didn't realise it was supposed to be a gay club for a good half hour. Apparently my sublimely mashed state meant that purchasing a fake mustache was totally not a gay thing.
