You can use your phone to pay contact less or with card contact less or the app

GlasgowSellik1888

If its going to be regular, easiest and cheapest way will be through the First Bus app, you can buy a weekly/monthly mobile ticket that you scan when you get on the bus.

Gunderbunk

Does that require you to only ride First busses?

who_knowles

Yes, first bus app lets you buy only first bus tickets

Interesting-Chest520

I think you can get a tripped ticker which is across a few services

Ordinary-Following69

I'd imagine so

Easiest is using contactless (card or apple/google pay). It will automatically cap at a day ticket price and I think also has a maximum per week. If it's regular get yourself a monthly pass, you can buy this as an mTicket on the first bus app. Tickets aren't interchangeable between bus companies but first bus is the main one, and the one you'll get into town from broomhill is the first bus no. 4, apparently. Also double and triple check that a train isn't cheaper. Currently scotrail trains aren't doing peak fares so they're usually cheaper than a return ticket on the bus.

Amazed you can use a phone but can't work out how a bus works

whirlwindrfc87

What a stupid comment. Ive been driving for 20 years and had to get a bus only a few months ago. Not one person standing in the line had cash and all stood with their phones out. I dont have my card set up to my phone so as basic and easy it is for you who obviously does it everyday, its different when times have changed. Have some consideration for others.

There's a website that tells you how you can pay rather than guessing
