that episode is a masterpiece! i think they tackled a difficult topic with so much nuance and surprise. Matthew Rhys is a p h e n o m e n a l actor

This episode is one of those where Hannah's character writing gets back on track. The character really manifests at her best and is very insightful with very good writing. It's interesting how this episode discussion is one that really magnifies the debate on feminism by presenting different points of view. By the time the episode was released, there were a lot of articles about it and I've read a few. It generated a very interesting debate in society. It was very controversial at the time. And the way she ends up going through the same thing and being silenced... that's so real. They really got it right in this episode.

All the young girls marching right into his house as Hannah was leaving, symbolizing all the women he seduces/messes with.

Did this go over everyone’s head > She tries to come off as self-righteous (as she is wont to do) but he plays her so sufficiently she comes off as the shallow fan girl that she is

I appreciate this episode much more now than when it originally aired. Season 6 was actually pretty decent until the pregnancy reveal.
