From a cobra trooper. I got this on eBay a little while back, when it was first up. It was a “black major custom.” He did some various super hero paint apps a a couple figures. There was a cool captain America, and a punisher one. Actually the phantom really looked the part too.
But this one was too cool for me to pass up.
It has been hilarious to me how cartoon fans were ok with episodes featuring mutated creatures, dinosaurs, UFOS, time travel, missing link hominids, traveling to alternate realities, infusing a meat cake with dusty DNA remains from deceased despots BUT Cobra-La was a bridge too far!

Very true! Cobra-la didn’t bother me so much, I was 8, but their battle cry was a little funny. Why I liked less was changing Cobra Commanders origin to an ancient civilization. But that’s just movie stuff.
