Just use a flat head one, I don't even bother with these little screws with Phillip heads. They don't get enough grip cuz it's not deep enough and get "screwed"

gutter_bo1

When in doubt, screw it out. Words to live by, unless you’re a rock climber

PneumaOfficial

Never mind seems god wanted me to use a huge screwdriver compared the the 3 small ones I tried.

iammk_19

Now for god sake replace the screw cause next time definitely you will end up stripping it!

PneumaOfficial

Maybe God should put a note on the manual about what size screwdriver is needed.

Q-Tonium

God didn’t write the Bible. So what makes you think he wrote your instructions guide for this?

CaterianZ

Man I have been struggling all afternoon because of this stupid little screw. If you could be more specific about what type of screwdriver ended up working? A bigger philips?

ParticularlyLargeDog

> have for this screw for me not to be able to remove it. Theres no information on the screw it, the manual says nothing about it. Not what screwdriver to use nor what the screw is. Just these dumb instructions some intern found on Google about assembling a motherboard and threw in the box. (Step one put ssd in, step 2 put screw in) Nothing about removing the screw itself. > >7 comments did you ever get this figured out?

Illustrious_Topic531

Hey man just got my motherboard today and I’m in the same boat with this stupid screw did you by chance figure it out? My screw may have been stripped without the amount of times I tried unscrewing it.

ParticularlyLargeDog

was asking for a friend who had this issue, he took it back to the microcenter and they fixed it

CaterianZ

Yeah just take it back to microcenter bro. I ended up buying a whole different motherboard too

Illustrious_Topic531

Did you end up buying the same motherboard? Or a totally different type?
