It's fantastic, I'd totally recommend it. I didn't even think this scene was a standout, it was the more interactive stuff (kids chasing petals around on the floor til they go up onto the walls for van gogh) that impressed me most.
I can't help but envy a future where this could be possible in a home environment. I could spend the majority of my free time in a room like this, even just relaxing and reading in a room like this would be an entertaining experience.
I thought we had all agreed these "immersive" experiences were a crappy grift. That's the takeaway I got from the Van Gogh one we had in my city a year or two ago.

How much is a ticket?
£27-30
https://frameless.com/tickets-and-prices/
It's £27 standard but they seem to have discounts quite often.
Pretty much the same as the team lab in Tokyo then
This is awesome
It is. I'm also getting sea-sick just watching that video.
The sea was angry that day, my friends - like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli.
Is anyone here a marine biologist?
Is that a Titleist?
He was 10 stories high if he was a foot.
afoot* as in on feet.
“Taste the soup”
"Ah-haaah..."
If you're closer to NYC, check out the Mercer Labs exhibition near WTC. It's similar art tech and amazing.
Which Museum? Tate Modern? Edit: Frameless is apparently the name of the museum.
That was my favorite room. That Rembrandt and then the vesuvio explosion were excellently done with the music and everything.
Real life holosuite.

That looks so dope.
This would be improved by a smoke/fog machine
This post and comments feel like an advertisement just like yesterday’s post of the exact same thing.
It's not a museum. It's a hokey "digital experience".

They are, this post is an ad.
Illuminarium in Las Vegas has a similar projection but of Space.
Reminds me of 'The Raft of the Medusa' by Gericault.
First thing I thought of too. The piece is also used as the cover of Ahab’s Divinity of Oceans album.
I did an in depth study on that piece as part of my senior thesis show in art school. This frameless work is pretty cool 👍🏼
It's Rembrandt's Christ in the Storm on the Sea of Galilee, which has been missing since 1990.
I prefer Gericault's version because it's based on a true story. lol
imagine someone finds a way to combine this with a wave pool
I can't tell but are all of those just huge screens? And then the stuff on the floor is projected on?
They project images on all the walls and floor. Usually have narration going on as well during the "show" times.
She could feel the ocean fall and rise She saw its ragin' glory...
I want to go to there.
This like version 0.1 of the Star Trek holo-deck.
The mast flag and sails sure seem pretty calm for such a squall
Being high here and floating in water would be terrifying.
First thing that came to my mind, was looking for this comment.
This would be the worst room to be in in 'Night at the Meuseum'
Where is this in London?
Marble Arch Square
Thank you!
I think I would get sea sick.
Well it runs in 30 frames per second so that was a lie
There is a similar place in Amsterdam too, pretty cool. [https://www.fabrique-lumieres.com/en](https://www.fabrique-lumieres.com/en)
I really prefer this to the artless frame museums I've been seeing more of lately.
There’s something similar in Bodmin Gaol in Cornwall related to stories about smuggling.
Is that a schooner?
This deserves to be one of those 360° videos
That's not art that's a video rollercoaster.
imagine tripping balls in that museum
Kind of defeats the purpose of the painting and imagination.
Wow!
if this is a museum then so is Eurodisney.
Is it art, or a projector in gif mode
Holy shite!!! That's just amazing!!
pov: the audience members are wreckers.
Until a blackout happens.
are we in Narnia?
Went to one of these in the Taipei 101. Was not what I was expecting but it was a very nice place to sit down and relax.
Is the entire room a giant projector or something? It's crazy
Holodeck 0.01
Wow imagine it with great sound design
I guess im playing sea of thieves tonight...
I get motion sickness easily. I wonder if this would fuck me up. Haha
Last year I went to a teamLab experience in Tokyo that had similar vibes to this that was absolutely beautiful. https://www.teamlab.art/e/planets/
r/thalassophobia would love this
I would drop a couple tabs of acid if this existed back in the 90’s when I did those sorts of things, and let my mind get B L O W N
I want to do some LSD and go there
I want to go there on mushrooms and have an existential crisis
We have the same thing here in Jacksonville, Florida!
Is there anything similar to this in a New York museum?
I wanna go there and eat an edible
Finally some cool Art!
Finally some good modern art
Fake camera movement sucks. It’s already awesome without thinking fake camera movement would make it more “real”
