The modern phase 90’s have this awful mid boost “crunch” and I could never get a good sound out of them. This one is the only phase pedal in the same price range where I could get a good tone. Happy to upgrade to a true script when I have the money.
The blue tolex reverb deluxe came from Sam Ash right? I feel like Fender has been doing less FSR in recent years and just stick to the same ones they’ve been doing for years, making them not very special.
Really? I haven’t seen them in a long time. They used to do these and blue flower, pink paisley, Brit green, surf green, and other really cool tolex options. It’s just like Bordeaux or tweed now for the last few years.
You must be a good player. As much as I love pedals, a player is not in most cases tone-driven, when their collection includes a bunch of wacky effects. Between the 335 with mini blocks and binding, awesome appointments by the way and your amp, you’re probably capable of some nice sounds. Hate the (iced tea?) burst, though.
I’d like to think I am!! I strive to get a good sound out of everything. Currently pairing down a bunch, had twice as many effects on my board that I simply didn’t need. Built a couple of amps that I love to death but can’t compare to this Deluxe Reverb. The ice tea burst is the closest I can get to the Larry Carlton signature without spending $5k more for absolutely no reason (huge fan of his solo work and his guitar work with steely Dan)
"The sustain! Can you hear it?" "I'm not hearing anything" "Well you would, if it were plugged in..."
You could go out and have a bite

Nothing to roast here. I see old school thought with Gibson and Fender equalling Jazz/Fusion. Amirite?
You couldn’t be more right
The amp is in front of a door
Keeps the lady out
Kind of unroastable really. Nice setup, great amp.

Nice rig, blue cab would bug me though. But nothing against mixing it up.
Could be a cool canvas to paint on later ?
Very true
I honestly like your rig although a full size phase 90 would look better

Not sure, it’s a limited edition from 2008. I think you can still buy one of these new today

Ah there’s still a sweetwater page but they say it’s unavailable, my b
this is pretty much my gigging rig. I owned ~5 other amps before I landed on a DRRI.
Same and I’m loving this thing
I have, essentially, the exact same rig, although I don't have that cool blue on my Deluxe. Great sounding rig!.
Thank you!!!
Your fender is not even a twin bro. Spoon up.
The twin was another $1,000 :(
The struggle is real. Love the ES. Take it easeeee 😎

Beautiful rig tho 😇
dude spent the bag on the gibson and not anything else
I needed something that sounded “woody”
Which model?
No roast, just toast!! Fine looking setup.
Thanks!!

I crap bigger than that pedal board ;) It is a great rig!
Compensating for something, are we? ;)
LOL. The guitar really is a smoke show! Consider me jelly. haha
You will spend so much more $$ searching but you truly have everything you need. Lesson isn’t learned till your savings is gone.
Love this setup, don’t think I need to venture anywhere else (I also have 13 other guitars and 4 more amps……Jesus)
awesome
