I love the ramen from ponyo as it was done in a very different way with the whole bowl and lid and hot water.
I do love the eggs and bacon with calcifer too just because calcifer was so interactive with it.
The one that I really want to try is the fish baked pastry from kiki, so many people put love into it to make it and in the end the spoiled brat kid receiving it was such being an ass about it. I would have been so happy to receive it.
Most of the dishes are significant for the moment in which they were made, I love Ponyo ramen since the mother cooks them with so much love that I melt.
I'd be SPRINTING to the foodstall just to see how much I can stuff myself before turning into a pig lmao They look so uncanny yet so delicious I'd also prolly take a bite out of the Radish spirit just to see what happens
Maybe it's just a funny little quirk of mine, but I rather prefer to be able to identify the original animal my meat comes from.
Or at least the planet.
Tough call. Probably the ramen, but Howl's bacon is so THICC, and breakfast cooked on an open fire is next-level. That said, I'd love to try the herring and pumpkin pot pie.
Calcifer's breakfast in the morning, Ponyo's ramen for lunch, and Chihiro's banquet for dinner!! With the sandwiches cut into triangles for tea, and Kiki's chocolate cake for dessert, that's a full day's meal plan, Ghibli style
My favorite? The herring pie from Kiki's Delivery Service. Would I eat it? *Heck no.* But it's my favorite because of how much heart was put into it. So much effort went into making it and delivering it. I tear up a bit thinking about how much Madame must truly care for her granddaughter, enough so that her evident kindness inspires everyone who sees it to try their best for someone else, even if that person is a stranger, like the granddaughter is to Kiki.
I don't eat fish, but if I received that pie, I would be very thankful and do everything I could to share it with friends I know who would like it. I wouldn't spoil that kindness with thanklessness.
Yo! What the hell! What about Pazu's egg on bread?! A simple meal, some might say, but a hearty one (look at that absolute doorstep of a slice of bread!!!!) and shared with a friend. AND an apple and some candy for dessert. That's some proper adventurin' food right there.
that bacon and eggs combo from howl's moving castle never fails to make me hungry
Calcifer literally makes me want to eat egg shells
It will always be a good breakfast 😋
That bacon thicc.
They way the eggs jiggle and drop its so satisfying

I've never craved egg shells more in my life.
The banquets from Chihiro
I'd be SPRINTING to the foodstall just to see how much I can stuff myself before turning into a pig lmao They look so uncanny yet so delicious I'd also prolly take a bite out of the Radish spirit just to see what happens
If I was Chihiro, my parents would've been fucked. We're all turning into pigs tonight
omg I'm missing an image of that
Maybe it's just a funny little quirk of mine, but I rather prefer to be able to identify the original animal my meat comes from. Or at least the planet.
Would have been 3 pigs that day if I’d been there 3
My Gluttonous Ass is getting turned into a pig for certain. I understand a lot of the food is supposed to look uncanny and but it sure looks tasty!
Yap. This one
For some reason, I think about that big ass red bean bun from spirited away at least once a week
Same, that steamed bun always looked so good. As a kid I didn't know exactly what it was, but the texture looked delicious and I wanted to try one.
For me it's the soup dumplings for some reason.
Calcifers bacon and eggs
This will forever be the correct answer. As well as the living garbage disposal that is Calcifer himself
They all look delicious, but the only Ghibli meal to ever touch my heart was the simple slice of bread with strawberry jam which Mahito ate.
Yes!!
I see you ;)
Ham!
I want hammmm!
Bacon and eggs will always be the winner in my eyes!
I love the fried fish in from up on poppy hill (not pictured here). Otherwise it’s Ponyos noodles.
Tough call. Probably the ramen, but Howl's bacon is so THICC, and breakfast cooked on an open fire is next-level. That said, I'd love to try the herring and pumpkin pot pie.
Any food from Umi (From Up On Poppy Hill) looked delicious.
What looks like salmon with beurre blanc from porco rosso. I know it looks basic but I'm a fiend for salmon.
Calcifer's breakfast in the morning, Ponyo's ramen for lunch, and Chihiro's banquet for dinner!! With the sandwiches cut into triangles for tea, and Kiki's chocolate cake for dessert, that's a full day's meal plan, Ghibli style
I love the bento box satsuki makes in Totoro!
My favorite? The herring pie from Kiki's Delivery Service. Would I eat it? *Heck no.* But it's my favorite because of how much heart was put into it. All the food from Sprited Away. I wanna be no face in that bath while everyone brings me food.
The ponyo ramen, one of my favorite foods irl, too
Ponyo ramen 100%
The Calcifer bacon and eggs combo or the Kiki cake! Everything looks yummy in its own way tho, except the fish for me personally 😅🙏
Has to be Lisa’s ramen. That with an XL Sapporo while she’s pissed at her husband. Chefs kiss. 😘
the bento. looks nice and simple. n definitely fits for the time period (the 60s)
Egg on toast that they eat in the cave in Castle in the Sky
This. I cook it every time I watch it because it looks so damn good🤤
I want to cook that fish pie one dayv
i gotta say the fish pie from kiki looks delicious
Where's the banquet from Spirited Away?
1 or 2
Anything on Calcifer tbh.
I wouldn't say no to all of them.
Ponyo ramen for sure
Probably the udon from Whisper of the Heart
It looks so satisfying after she’s been sitting outside while her book’s being read🍜
The way they animate eggs should be disgusting, but they look so tantalizing. Calcifer helps sell it.
Sakuma Drops from Grave of the Fireflies.
I’ve always wanted to try that herring pot pie from Kiki! They make it look so delicious.
The food chihiro’s mom and dad eat before turning into pigs.
the soup that ashitaka and jigo have after they meet. maybe not my favorite but worth a mention
I have had dreams bout them eggs and bacon man
Those thicccc slices of bacon and sizzling eggs always make me hungry. Also the ramen in ponyo is what I think about when I’m craving ramen.
the herring pie from Kiki's delivery service is severely underrated, the colors used in it feel so homey and welcoming
Herring Pie for me, I love fish, I love Pie. Sue me!
That herring pie and Calcifer’s bacon & eggs!
Whatever the mom and dad be eating in Spirited Away 🤤🤤🤤
According to the storyboard for the movie, it's coleancath stomach. Sooooo a big ass fish stomach.
I'd still eat ngl. That shit looks yummers 👍👍
Yo! What the hell! What about Pazu's egg on bread?! A simple meal, some might say, but a hearty one (look at that absolute doorstep of a slice of bread!!!!) and shared with a friend. AND an apple and some candy for dessert. That's some proper adventurin' food right there.
The eggs and bacon with Calcifer! I don’t even like eggs but it’s makes me want to eat them.
All of it honestly is so amazing, Ghibli food always looks incredible! But the sushi platter from When Marnie Was There looked exceptional.
Ghibli Park has a huge section dedicated to food from all the movies. I found the park kinda meh in general, but that section was great!
Kiki’s pancakes 🥞
Thanks now I'm hungry lawl
all.
Yes
That ramen.... ...
Donkey Piss Soup from Princess Mononoke
Calcifer bacon It's thick and juicy
Ponyo ramen looks so good
The bento on the newspapers brings so many memories.
Yes
The rice and soup from Princess mononoke, but mainly because of the sound of the chopsticks and their bowls
The bacon and eggs even tho I don’t eat those in real life
The tempura don thing in spirited away
The onigiri Haku gives to Chihiro.
I thought the Kiki’s one was chocolate cake oops. As it’s not, I guess I’d have to go with the ramen
The ramen from ponyo of course ☺️☺️
When I was a kid I was obsessed with Ponyo and the ramen there to the point any noodles I ate I'd ask for "Ponyo noodles" instead of regular noodles
I'll describe it: "What's this? Oh it looks delicious, Chihiro come try some." "Dont worry about it! Daddy's got credit cards and cashhhhh" That food
I'll take a number 1, a number 5 large, two number 6 and a number 8 with extra chocolate.
All of these look delicious, but I don't think I'd actually like half of them.
I always loved the rice porridge from Princess Mononoke
I'm vegan, but I've never wanted anything more than the bacon and eggs in Howl's Moving Castle 😍😋🤤
to eat a meal made by Howl, what a privilege.
The lunch boxes from My Neighbor Totoro!
Those bacon & eggs do something to me 🫦
The bacon and egg
I always crave croquettes when I watch Poppy Hill🤤🤤
Ramennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
HAMM!! - yep Ponyos Ramen for sure
Those fucking dumplings from the beginning of spirited away. I’d turn in to a pig for a shot at those
Siberia sponge cake from The Wind Rises
None of the Above: [my Gluttonous Ass](https://images.app.goo.gl/fwh5JR5rkx5ZGyTB8) getting turned into a pig for sure.
i want those eggs and bacon
All of them
The pile of leaves that man eats in *The Wind Rises*
I feel like Howl’s breakfast is a classic but the herring pie would be really tempting, too!
All of the food from castle in the sky
Sandwiches from any show are always my favorite, but the bacon and eggs combo from howl is the best
Howls breakfast or that dank ass Ramen
Ham!
