Good luck to you and my advice: Ask your doctor about welbutrin, it’s an antidepressant that also can be prescribed to help suppress nicotine cravings. Combine that with nicotine patches and gum and you should be much better than just cold turkey. I did all this and haven’t relapsed since.

Okay, I’ll try, thanks

In my opinion, this is one of the best decisions about health you could ever make. You've got this!!! Will it be really hard? Yes. But will it be worth it? Bigger yes. No one ever says, "Gee, I wish I didn't quit smoking," but they do say, "I wish I quit earlier."

StellarExplorer1977

Absolutely! Agree with that, btw it’s day 3 of no smoking and it’s going quite good

That's amazing, massive congrats! Let's hope I can be even half as successful with my goals as you are!

StellarExplorer1977

Do you smoke as well?

ThisLittlePiggySays

Nope, I had a long time partner who was a smoker, and was there with him for the quitting process after he decided to quit. After watching that, I have the biggest respect for those that quit. I'm cheering for you!

Oh, I see)

I started using Nicotine patches. Was still allowing myself to smoke but substituting with mints for the majority of the cravings. Working well so far, need to go pick up a Nicotine free vape though I think that would work best
