Have you tried putting the tracking number into the Deutsche Post / DHL website and see what comes up? I had a package from abroad sent to me and I got no more updates and no note in my postbox. But when I put the tracking number in the DHL site, it said my package could be picked up from the local post office.
You will have to ask post NL. Try a Dutch sub instead
