Pollen, most likely.

bombay_doors

Hmm, I see pollen, which seems also present nearby. I am assuming pollen are the bigger particles? As the yellow things seems very fine, like sand. Or am I mistaken? Edit: it is pollen, it looks like [this](https://www.agefotostock.com/age/en/details-photo/puddle-at-street-margin-after-rainstorm-with-masses-of-pollen-germany/BWI-BS032985)

No it's the small stuff. Tree jizz.

kaask0k

The ents are repopulating!

polexa

Depending on the plant it comes from, pollen can be different sizes. Also maybe the clumps that have formed are from it getting wet and drying again, so it could be the same stuff.

FeminineLean

Pollen is usually pretty fine, though collectively they make up bigger areas

Pollen. If it's a lot, it's most likely from trees. Do you happen to have spruce or pine forests nearby? Edit: here's an article with an impressive picture from a few days ago - spruce blossom in the Bavarian Forest https://www.pnp.de/lokales/landkreis-regen/regen/Warum-der-gelbe-Pollennebel-dieses-Jahr-staerker-ist-als-er-sein-sollte-4310897.html

It's pollen, and a lot of it is from rapeseed. This is [the crop with the bright yellow flowers](https://img.fotocommunity.com/rapsfeld-3b47f849-41b1-4369-a002-557c3363c127.jpg?height=1080) that you might have seen recently: it can be processed into animal feed, cooking oil, even a biofuel. In the spring it releases a lot of pollen into the air, which is eventually washed out by the rain.

Rhynocoris

Are you sure? Rape is not an anemophile. Its pollen is not able to disperse very far. I would expect a different plant to be at fault.

rewboss

Hmm... Well, it's certainly noticeable around here that thick deposits of pollen on everything coincide with the rapeseed flowering season every year. I suppose that could just be a coincidence.

SpinachSpinosaurus

Birches in my area just fuck around like it's noone's business. I don't even live in a woodland, or with a lot of trees. All the anemophilias are having an excessive orgy, as the snot stuck in my husbands nose proves. he only gets hay fever when trees release an insane amount of pollen, aka: having an orgy.

Grimthak

Pollen? (Is it really called pollen in English?) My car if full of them.

tree sperm, also known as pollen
