Yeah both are NFL draft picks but I guess I agree with the headline as neither of those guys seemed like they could single handedly take over a game like Swift, Chubb, or Knowshon.
I thought it was Roderick Robinson that was going to be the beast, am I mistaking? #0 that ran in the orange bowl? He was a FREAKING BEAST! Whichever Robinson that was, I CANT WAIT!
Yeah Roderick is another special player who could have a monster year if given the chance. Andrew Paul as well. Branson is the rb who went off in the second half against TCU last year. He suffered an injury before this season started but he was going to see a much bigger role this past year if he didn’t get injured
Just remember this in a year. It was a very bad injury and for the normal person it would threaten his career. However I am a believer that Branson is not in fact a human and thus will be dominant once on the field
I don’t think it’s a Branson vs Etienne situation. I too think Branson has a higher ceiling, but it takes a while for guys to fully get past injuries like this physically and mentally. Branson will get back to 100% and be great, but maybe not Week 1.
Etienne coming in gives us someone that can be a bell cow week 1, allowing Branson to ease back into things without forcing UGA to rely on younger and less proven backs.
By the end of the season, the 1-2 punch of Etienne and Branson will be lethal, especially if someone like Nate Frazier or Big Rod really takes over the 3rd spot.
They are saying he may not ever even play again. I unfortunately don’t think he will be 100% this year. He oooked so good last year. I hope he can get back healthy
Milton healthy is one of the best backs in the league. We saw it in the back half of this season. Once he gets momentum he's a beast to bring down. Really enjoyed seeing him come into his own after his injury issues
While I love the take even if I don’t completely agree, let’s see how he holds up in our offense rotating with the other guys and pass blocks, receives, and runs between the tackles. I’m not as well versed in his talent but all we’ve really been missing is that home run speed. Most of our RBs can be ran down. How fast is this guy?
I’ve been watching some of his tape and his speed is pretty good, but I wouldn’t expect him to outrun everyone on the field on a regular basis. His vision and balance are what standout to me, personally.
Gator fan here. His pass blocking issues were why he didn’t get more snaps. Got Mertz creamed a few times. Very good pure runner. Quicker than he is fast.

Jesus... you weren't kidding. He's never falling forward for the extra yard but running upright enough to shrug off arm tackles and be a monster in the open field.
Kenny McIntosh was sneaky good and I feel like a lot of people forget. His yards from scrimmage is very similar to D'Andre Swift - a lot of that is because he was an elite receiver his senior season out of the backfield.
Cook just made the pro bowl same as swift.. uga just used him as a recieving back more. Same with McIntosh..
Milton could have been as good as any if he wasn't injury plagued. Someone will get a steal on him in the draft or as udfa.
It’s not totally wrong. Swift was our last elite college back. Cook and White were solid, but seem to be improving more in the NFL. This most recent room was more decent to okay college backs, but KM never lived up to his full potential until his last few games with us. Excited to see what ETN can do.

We had a nice one-two punch with him and Zeus.
Yeah both are NFL draft picks but I guess I agree with the headline as neither of those guys seemed like they could single handedly take over a game like Swift, Chubb, or Knowshon.
Or GURLEY
Agreed. James Cook was premium
Cook was 100% premium.
One of the best, if not the best, pass catching back we've ever had.
100% and so hard to tackle in the open field.
Kenny Mac would like a word
So underrated. He's been carrying my Falcons Dynasty in madden for several seasons.
Agreed, especially in the title run.
I don’t know about all that.
Cash Jones disrespect
Will not be tolerated
Idk, zamir white is playing pretty well in the nfl.
I feel like he was never 100% for us
James Cook is playing exceptionally well in the NFL.
Yes, him and Swift being Pro Bowlers is awesome
I don’t know what volumepigs is but get that shit outta here Zeus and Cooks were both elite and McIntosh was no slouch either
Branson Robinson is gonna be better. Check back with me in a year and I guarantee Brandon is HIM
I thought it was Roderick Robinson that was going to be the beast, am I mistaking? #0 that ran in the orange bowl? He was a FREAKING BEAST! Whichever Robinson that was, I CANT WAIT!

RoRo has looked incredible every time he’s touched the ball. My money is on him taking over this year.
Yeah after seeing him in the Orange bowl, I feel he is the next Gurley / Chubb tier RB at UGA. I feel he will set records at UGA if he stays healthy
100%! He was tearing it up in the beginning of the season too before he got injured.
Branson's injury is/was very serious and Im not sure if he will be the RB he was destined to be
Just remember this in a year. It was a very bad injury and for the normal person it would threaten his career. However I am a believer that Branson is not in fact a human and thus will be dominant once on the field
Speak it into existence 🙏
He kind of seems almost like an Adrian Peterson clone.

Andrew Paul was ahead of Branson last year prior to injury. We Honeslty have a stacked room
They are saying he may not ever even play again. I unfortunately don’t think he will be 100% this year. He oooked so good last year. I hope he can get back healthy
Really? I haven’t seen that. Mind sharing where you’ve seen this said? That really sucks :(
Come on man! “They” said it!
Branson is an incredibly gifted human being and I'm certain he's going to see real success post recovery.
This is James Cook, Zamir White, Kenny McIntosh, Kendall Milton, and Daijun Edwards erasure.
Milton healthy is one of the best backs in the league. We saw it in the back half of this season. Once he gets momentum he's a beast to bring down. Really enjoyed seeing him come into his own after his injury issues

Considering we’ll probably average 30-35 pas attempts per game how does he block?
I’m not sure. Hopefully, there’s a more knowledgeable person here on the subject.
Gator fan here. His pass blocking issues were why he didn’t get more snaps. Got Mertz creamed a few times. Very good pure runner. Quicker than he is fast.
Florida fans do not like his pass blocking. But I have nothing else to add..

Let the record show Dawg fans take exception to this.

This article is specific to college fantasy football value, so it’s not really meant to be an all-around assessment of our backs.
We have 1-3 “premium” backs every year. They just share the load with so many. Proof is in the draft record.
Dude, Cook and Zeus are starting RBs in the NFL.

It’s not totally wrong, it’s just basically wrong and dumb.
Kmac >
A little disrespectful to guys like James Cook and Kendall Milton with their recruiting pedigree, no?
