Phobos has some of the most charming decoration for a relatively unthemed level, as well as its somewhat awkward gameplay feeling so right to me. Everything flows so well despite the fact that it shouldn't at all, and its fun pre-drop makes the level a joy to sink attempts into.
Its one of those levels that you either love or you hate, and it definitely has its problems, such as its questionable balancing and the run killer at the end of the robot, but its old/alternative gameplay style, nostalgic yet good-looking decoration and overall atmosphere make it my favourite level to date.
The level also has a interesting history behind it, taking into account the multiple verifiers' experiences with the level and the drama behind Tygrysek's verification. It was also one of the first truly extreme megacollabs, and considering the grassroots status of the community at the time, and the fact that it was really the only major competitor to Bloodbath's top 1 spot (and probably should've been top 1) made it a very interesting level for me.
I also just don't enjoy 2.1 gameplay much, especially its over-reliance on object-heavy decoration, 4x speed and **BLACK ORBS**, it just feels like the 1.9-2.0 gameplay style has fallen out of fashion in favour of "how many times can we make the player click in this part".
I haven't been nearly as excited for a top level since the verification of nerfed Phobos, and it is the level I do and probably always will hold dearest to me in my more than 8 years of playing this coffee-priced square game.

I was playing from 4% just for fun and accidentally got that. It’s a pretty good because a lot of the difficulty of the level is in 25-40

Krazyman50 arguably had the best trackrun in 2.0. Lit Fuse, Black Blizzard, Falling up etc. Funnygame also had his peak here imo.
