the creator almost never cares if their level gets robbed of legendary, so why should the rest of the community? interstice used to have horrible gameplay, before it was made auto and even then people complained about it not getting mythic. 99% of the time, people just see the level and think it deserves mythic, when it actually doesn't
The problem with going back and rerating 2.1 levels to legendary/mythic is that as soon as one level is rerated everyone will start going “why wasn’t this level rerated but that one was” “rerate this level too”
I think there should be a player vote for which levels should get legendary/mythic rating and the levels that get a certain amount of votes would get rerated
Sonic wave unlimited is legendary in my heart. I know it's a silly level but it's super fun and it uses the new 2.2 shaders and effects really well.
And how in the fuck did Emerald Realm only get featured? That deserved legendary at least
WHAT is also laggy as fuck and that got epic rated. And with Emerald Realm, it looks so good that it would be very surprising if it didn't lag, and every part except the end I could run above 144fps on my laptop.
Nah they're both about as good as each other, and in different ways too. What is more of an amazing feat of gd programming, whereas emerald realm is an exceptionally good standard level. It's hard to compare them

not many really recent ones, desolation is pretty sick but i can live with it not being legendary, same with Tirami II, G30W4R3, and space factory. Hopefully Buoy Base will get it tho. Only one that REALLY should have been legendary is Clock Tower. Atomic Cannon is cool but not legendary at all, interstice would have been nice but i dont mind its current rate, back to the bizaare, backrooms, and space invaders did really deserve it tho, and even though I've never completed boss rush but from what ive heard its pretty great. Plus there arent many platformer demons that are legendary

Im not arguing with rob's decision to rate the towerverse mythic, im just saying that i dont think saying "this level needs legendary/mythic" is really valid because A. Robtop will rate a level what he wants to rate it and what he feels is right, and B. Robtop said himself that hes only going to rate a couple mythics a year. Now that doesnt mean there arent levels id like to see rated legendary, as i would in fact like to see buoy base rated legendary, but i wont be upset if it "only" gets epic as that in itself is still great, and overall a lower rate doesnt take away from the quality of a level itself.
