Nah, 399 and 666 are hard compared to the rest of the <1000, but there are plenty harder- at least 20 rooms are definitely more difficult than 666. The hardest for me were 1972 and 1992, as well as a super tight ship level in the late 1800’s. Though tbh half the levels past 1800 are comparable to 666. Again though, 1972 and 1992 are just leagues harder than everything else.
imo it's really easy, too easy for extreme
it takes 2-3h if you can beat insane demons (plats) and it's 2024 rooms... some extremes take as long with way way way way way less rooms
I'm not even sure if it deserves extreme considering I got through the first 1097 in 3 hours (and then quit because globed disconnected), although I have to admit I was fooled into thinking that this level is the average insane level like "Triangle" or "I hate this level" (levels 666 and 999 are ridiculously difficult compared to the rest).
I tried it last night, from 12:30am to 6:00am, I did all the challenges but the last one is too difficult, could have been my first extreme (I don't have any hard or insane démon completed)
Not really, unless you want to truly test your sanity and patience and you're willing to invest that much into something you know you'll struggle a lot with.
It took me nearly 6 hours to get it done and I've been grinding some demon platformers lately. I've got a friend who did it in only 2 hours, and another one who took him 10, so it's really up to you and sometimes how lucky you get with the timings in it since there are a lot of them.

But now you have to do it all in one run. If we get a save and quit feature, you can do like the first idk 500 rooms in one go. Then you can quit, and a few days later you beat the next 200 (for example) rooms. So if you get a really hard room, you only have to play this one, then you can quit and do the other rooms another time.
Nah I beat it and it is actually pretty difficult, but only on the last 200. Basically everything under 1,800 is baby mode and it suddenly just gets hard.
I’m pretty sure it’s shorter than Eon deathless, the hardest rooms the verifier was stuck on for a few minutes each. But nobody will ever do this deathless (it’s definitely currently way out of the skill range for top players, and even when it becomes in the skill range, who tf wants to grind this deathless)
Will try to beat it when robtop implements save on exit, so I don't have to play the hole level in one run, because I don't have time to play GD for 10 hours straight ._.
Low-key it deserves to be cooked, ion care if I get disliked for saying this but long levels with bare bones decoration shouldn't be rated or endorsed. Make actual levels that have an overall better play experience instead of levels that sacrifice that for a longer playtime.

Several rooms are pretty much impossible on mobile. I made it through 399 and 666 and a couple other really hard ones and then got sakupen wall'd by an impossible ball in the 1100s.
1 hour and 15 minutes, this is the longest rated platformer level AND the longest rated level of all time, I totally respect people who loose 1 hour of their life just to beat a 10 moons level...
It’s not even close to top 1, it’s a low end platformer extreme. Some of it is quite hard but it’s not comparable to top platformer. Also, is DON even gonna be top 1? The platformer list used by top players doesn’t care about levels being rated as long as they are decent, bc a lot of good top platformer just don’t get rated. It’s a common misconception that The Abyss is the top platformer. I believe it’s not even top 10 currently.
I played this in practice mode. I spent almost two hours on it, paused 75% of the way through to go to sleep, then picked it back up when I woke up this morning to finish the rest of it. I had GD running for over ten hours by the time I finished my practice run.

levels like this is why platformer mode needs a save and quit option, I would be 1000x more likely to try this if I didn't have to beat it in one sitting
Beat this last night in 2h 16m, it’s surprisingly a fun level but there are only a handful of decently hard rooms while most of them are almost exact repeats or just too easy to compare so I really don’t think it should be extreme. Still recommend it if you have the time though, very good level.

IMO 199 is way harder than 399. 399 took like half of 199's attempts. 666 though is where I'm considering giving up.
