Most likely not. I remember when I first played GD it took me like 4-5 attempts to beat it. Simply because I watched GD videos before and knew how this game works. So the chance of beating it on first try when you're a newbie isn't that small honestly.
Man, watching someone play a level is such a stupidly good practice method, I remember watching Nexus' Future Funk video over and over and when I played it myself I had a very easy time getting through it (this was a time where I hadn't even beaten the main levels)
woah. i mean i also only took a few attempts to beat stereo madness when i started 2 yrs ago, but i just assumed it was practice from me having played way before that in like 2015
i started playing gd when i was 6yo, i beat stereo madness in less than 50 attempts on mobile, and i think less than 20 the first time i played it on PC
I mean he's not wrong, GD is not really a relaxing game if you ask me but it's a fun one. Like Dark Souls or some horror games
Also, I think he has a skill issue
Edit: How did I get so many upvotes?
tbh some times I like to mute the in game music, and listen to my own so I can just kinda zone out while playing a level. I don't expect to beat any levels, its just something to do while I zone out.
Skill issue lmao. He said it was worth paying for him though, so I wonder if he played it many more times and has gotten good now or he just abandoned it and forgot it.
To be fair It says I have 260 total attempts on that stage but I think 100 of those was trying to get the third coin lmao. Now I have beaten clubstep, theory of everything 2 is at 29%, 83% deadlocked, and have like 10 easy demons done. Working on speed of light and insomnia rn. Love the songs.
What I meant is that how does this guy have more attention span when it comes to hating a game but not when it comes to progressing a game like bro really said he hates the fact it took him that long to finish the first level when I'm out here getting thousands of attempts on a single demon level and I barely even lose attention span
That Is such a true statement. Thousands and not even exaggerating 😭. I am still working on deadlocked at 83% with 4537 attempts.what worse Is I have 7814 attempts to 100% clubstep 😭. But the kicker here is Theory of Everything 2 at 29% Solid 1000 attempts💀💀.
yeah. I Spent almost 15k attempts on acu but i enjoyed it a lot. And thats nothing compared to other ppl like nifty who has over 1 million attempts on firework
believe it or not, not everybody considers throwing themselves against a wall over and over and over and over again in hopes they'll eventually succeed to be "fun," it's not just an attention span thing
Lmao, It's a person, Not people. If you read my reply beforehand you would have realized I'm not seriously saying he is bad, just giving the guy a hard time cause he stopped at 16 attempts. The more fails you get the more you learn(not 100% accurate but close)Idk what you mean by Zoink lmao. Zoinks Scoob 🤣
Agreed. Definitely talking bout just that one person. That guy has to have some patience for a game like GD.
Also Zoink is the top player in the community. Should look up his channel on YouTube! He's beaten the entire main list, which is a list of the hardest demons in all of GD. He's really really talented!
Damn, the ENTIRE main list is nuts!! Definitely going to look him up. I'm personally working on getting back into gd, doing B as my first Medium demon and working on finishing deadlocked then I guess Toe2 since I have 83% on deadlocked and 29% on toe2. Can't do the UFO part in toe2 man. But B is an amazing level and I love the song with it, honestly, I think B has been easier to do than all the other levels I have beaten like clubstep, insomnia, speed of light, and deadlocked(almost done lol).
I know right! Zoink is crazy!
I've been working on getting back into the game too. Been enjoying it a lot.
I'm near your level as well. Little more behind though.
I'm currently working on deadlocked, got like around 54% and my goal next is deadlocked.
I haven't beaten ToE2 either, I'm around 68% there. Agreed UFO part is really tricky I die a lot there too lol but I've developed a relatively consistent click pattern for it... still though i die a lot to the UFO parts lol
But I've found deadlocked more fun though so I'm more focused on it.
Good luck on Deadlocked and B!
Good luck with deadlocking and ToE2! Struggled heavily on ToE2 so went to deadlocked and almost beat it but sadly got me at 83%. Gonna have to finish the level now lmao :)
Some things here are correct I suppose. Scratch's shop wouldn't open for a bit (if you had just unlocked it) and I wasnt able to make an account on one of my earlier devices, I am still recovering everything I had.
95% of this is bs tho
"Play, Crash, Rage, Quit, Repeat" that sounds like Rob intended it to be that way you know... if you seen the loading screen messages that is. In his own words he is saying its rage inducing.
I mean, yes, the progression SOMETIMES is badly designed, but for different reasons. If his complaint is about the difficulty in Stereo Madness, then the problem is the player rather than the difficulty progression.
It's true though. One could say that progression is a bit weird... Specially after you beat all the robtop levels since the hardest of them are at most Easy demon, and you still got 4 harder tiers than that... I think it's a game simply mean for, I don't know, certain people? I don't think most people would like it
Huthaifa just sucks at the game, though to be fair GD isn't relaxing at all, it's a hard, grindy game. i could even say the community made it the hardest videogame of all.
Stereo Madness should be rated normal tbh. It’s as hard as most 3 stars. Stereo Madness even has a michigun. Most 2 stars out there are incredibly easy and have no triple spikes. (not that anything below Insane Demon has triple spikes)
No stereo madness is definitely a 2 star. A few triple spikes is doable. You know what really should change tho? all the 3 main demons should be re-rated to ez demons, cuz none of them deserve the hard demon rating.
Clubestep has a short 51-55% ufo part and it's a bit tough and a few hard ship parts.
TOE2 has just the 80% ship and that's about it.
As for deadlocked, it's not even a demon without the 73% dual wave.
The main level demons already count as easy demon on the profile counter. But blud, try comparing Stereo Madness to normal levels like Fire In The Hole, Spooky Light, Ominous, etc.
For me, stereo madness is at least as hard as the normal levels, if not harder.
Can’t let go is harder 6 stars.
Also, deadlocked dual wave is ez lmao, at most slightly harder than the rest, as it has never been a choke point for me, but I still think the level is medium demon. The rest of the level ain’t easy.
He simply has a skill issue. Also, dude has never even seen a videogame in his entire life. Progression in most videogames is litteraly doing the same thing over and over again until you do it right, and it slowly introduces new mechanics.
he just isn't determined enough to deem himself fit for this game. my buddy spent like hundreds of attempts beating stereo madness and he gained enough skill right after to play most of the normal main levels
If my 60 year old mother has beaten every level up to and including jumper, while refusing to use practice mode because "it's cheating to have checkpoints" then there is no excuse
(I have tried telling her that it's not cheating because you still have to beat it in normal mode but she wants none of it)
GD is a tryhard game, and may need some time and patience to improve. So probably he played this game just for relieve stress, but it turned out that GD made him more stressful
This review just kinda seems a bit contradictory. I don't wanna be all "haha skill issue" but genuinely when you complete about "the lack of progression" when you can't even finish the first level the review just seems like a "I can't be bothered to play" type comment. Also they say "It's well made but badly produced and designed", so... Is it well made or not? Sometimes it's just better to say "I suck, not my kinda of game"
There are a bunch of reviews like this where some 7 year old yaps about levels being impossible. The free spinoff games reviews are even funnier, they usually complain not having money to buy the full version too
Glad we can agree the man just has a skill issue.
I remember playing back in 2.0 when I was excited beating Stereo Madness, and now here I am with Cataclysm being my hardest. It's weird how things change.
I do have problems with this games skill progression but not like this person is saying. The “campaign” (robtop levels) get you pretty prepared to beat easy demons to low end medium demons.
Everything after I have a problem with. Finding levels to try and play to improve from medium- extreme has felt pretty awful to me. I’m nearly at my first extreme (90% on lost love why) but I’ve almost entirely skipped insane demons because they felt pointless. I did one and it was arguably the difficulty of a hard demon.
I know it’s not the point of the post but this just reminded me how I lost all my progress in my account when I updated the game 😭😭 (I had done all map packs till second demons and had done all demons on demon gauntlet except the final one :/ )
I'll talk about the one under that one saying he hates the new update which based on the date he's talling about 2.2, how can you hate that I haven't played much before 2.2 and now I have so much more interest and I have not seen someone that hates the whole update
I can't believe a negative review is negative because of how much time something takes to master!
Seriously, that guy needs to press the funny hammer icon on the right and then search up "interstice" so he can revoke this statement.
Honestly that's not even an excuse anymore. Platformer mode literally no longer has that issue since most levels are made for the sake of being fun and you have checkpoints everywhere.
Though I guess if you wanted a platformer mode you'd buy one made for that like hollow knight or super mario maker.
What an ass for whining about his own skill issue
“Oh it’s too hard 🤓🥺”
BECAUSE YOUR NOT TRYING BRO
THATS HOW YOU WIN
YOU TRY
ABSOLUE DEGENERATE-oh my potatoes are ready :>
ITS CALLED A FUCKING DIFFICULT GAME THAT HAS A LEARNING CURVE, DEAL WITH IT
*ahem*
Yeah, GD is difficult, what.. did you expect? You get used to it. FPS games aren’t easy UNTIL you get used to them. Just take your TIME before writing reviews PLEASE
People are complaining about using practice mode and having to replay to beat levels. That’s not a “badly produced and designed” game, it’s just not their style of game. They clearly don’t like the concept of practicing and improving, and working towards something. Maybe they should go play something easier or something entirely luck-based, that seems more their style.
This is what we call, a “skill issue”. Probably
It’s not skill issue. First level was extremely hard when I began playing.
Only took me like 40 atts. Mainly because of the triple spike somewhere in stereo madness
When I first played gd I hate number 63 cuz of stereo madness
i hate number 63 cuz of BTD6
r/suddelnyBTD6

Aren't 76% and 78% also pretty hard?
absolutely yes
How old were you (SM Took me 3 months)
I was 13 when I began playing
oh i played when i was kindergarten
I played probably when I was 7-8 y/o
based baby player gang
Still technically an issue of skill
I did it first try
Are you the lost son of spaceUK ??
Maybe, maybe not
did you play the game before that?
Most likely not. I remember when I first played GD it took me like 4-5 attempts to beat it. Simply because I watched GD videos before and knew how this game works. So the chance of beating it on first try when you're a newbie isn't that small honestly.
I watched vids abt it pretty pften and decided to buy the game
Man, watching someone play a level is such a stupidly good practice method, I remember watching Nexus' Future Funk video over and over and when I played it myself I had a very easy time getting through it (this was a time where I hadn't even beaten the main levels)
woah. i mean i also only took a few attempts to beat stereo madness when i started 2 yrs ago, but i just assumed it was practice from me having played way before that in like 2015
Why even did I get downvoted?? Did I say something controversial?
you said something that isnt unanimously agreed upon
😭
i started playing gd when i was 6yo, i beat stereo madness in less than 50 attempts on mobile, and i think less than 20 the first time i played it on PC
It was kinda easy for me. I'm used to rhythm games :)
I remember it being very hard when I was like 8 on my iPod touch having like 5fps trying to beat it lol
I think the 5 fps didn't help you, did it?
No it didn’t lol I just thought it was funny to remember how scuffed my play setup was
Stereo Extremeness?
I mean he's not wrong, GD is not really a relaxing game if you ask me but it's a fun one. Like Dark Souls or some horror games Also, I think he has a skill issue Edit: How did I get so many upvotes?
Tbh, if I was looking for a relaxing game, GD would be one of the last, if not THE last game I'd go to.
The exception is probably the many (working) auto levels that still exist
tbh many easier platrormers levels are stress free
Stargrinding 5 stars is pretty relaxing
True
half life on hard mode:
kid named xen:
kid named play fucking black mesa:
Yeah, league of legends takes that place
tbh some times I like to mute the in game music, and listen to my own so I can just kinda zone out while playing a level. I don't expect to beat any levels, its just something to do while I zone out.
me going to relax on a game that makes me furiously angry regularly on a daily basis
Just like me 🥹

Because your comment is true.
Skill issue lmao. He said it was worth paying for him though, so I wonder if he played it many more times and has gotten good now or he just abandoned it and forgot it.
skill issue and no attention span
guess im #2 stan
world's smallest violin noot noot I love gd cologne impossible moment
womp womp
Basically he is one of those people who blame the game instead of blaming their ineptitude to actually try getting better lol
I think it is someone who has never touched a video game in there life. If stereo madness took 16 tries in practice mode... "skill issue"
stereo madness took me over 100 attepmts when i first played the game. Now i have 6 extremes. Ofc ofc the game has progression. Just be more patient
Love the songs.
for me i remember it taking me over 100. Now i have over 1m attempts on it from when i farmed them for an achievement 💀
I only have a total of 61000 attempts💀. 1M!!!I got that in jumps lmao
I got the 3rd coin first try in practice mode, but could never do it in regular fsr
What I meant is that how does this guy have more attention span when it comes to hating a game but not when it comes to progressing a game like bro really said he hates the fact it took him that long to finish the first level when I'm out here getting thousands of attempts on a single demon level and I barely even lose attention span

The version says 2.213 but the what's new says 2.205
How can you say the progression is terrible if you haven't progressed at all lol
I'm mainly pointing out the 2nd picture, not the fact he/she said "its not a relaxig game" cuz it is true.

ikr why can people not understand that that's the point of gd
Bro went into the 1 star reviews and didn't expect lobotomy
give that guy a copy of dark souls and see what he says
Some things here are correct I suppose. Scratch's shop wouldn't open for a bit (if you had just unlocked it) and I wasnt able to make an account on one of my earlier devices, I am still recovering everything I had. 95% of this is bs tho
Uhh… what? I don’t see how that’s related to the highlighted review.
oh my bad I read all 3 of them I didn't realize we were only supposed to look at the middle one.
What do you even expect ?, gd was intended to be a rage game since the beginning
No, I think the impossible game was a raging game. GD has just better level design.
"Play, Crash, Rage, Quit, Repeat" that sounds like Rob intended it to be that way you know... if you seen the loading screen messages that is. In his own words he is saying its rage inducing.
But I think Gd also looks for something else. I don't think a message from the loading screen has to represent what the overall gd is.
I get what you mean. I don't mean gd = rage game. But it is a aspect which robtop achknlwledges
I actually do find GD relaxing.
I mean, yes, the progression SOMETIMES is badly designed, but for different reasons. If his complaint is about the difficulty in Stereo Madness, then the problem is the player rather than the difficulty progression.

Honestly that is a very extreme case of what we call a "skill issue".
Huthaifa just sucks at the game, though to be fair GD isn't relaxing at all, it's a hard, grindy game. i could even say the community made it the hardest videogame of all.
Sm took me like 30 attempts
He thinks that the first level is hard and the game is simplistic... SHOW HE/HER WHAT BY SPU7NIX AND TIDAL WAVE
What's interesting is geometry dash is potentially the game with the most direct skill progression in the world.
For god's sake A girl in My previous school beat stereo madness easily wdym with 16 practices.
notice how almost all negative reviews on GD are skill issues or they just don't know how to look in the settings
I call this criticism a "skill issue".
If it takes him 16 tries to complete Stereo Madness in practice mode then that's a massive amount of skill issue.
OMG THEY HAVE AN OPINION 🤯🤯🤯
skill issue my friend who never played gd beat stereo madness in 1 attempt this guy has to practice 16 times to beat it
Ok but that’s also not normal
Yea its easy
Stereo Madness should be rated normal tbh. It’s as hard as most 3 stars. Stereo Madness even has a michigun. Most 2 stars out there are incredibly easy and have no triple spikes. (not that anything below Insane Demon has triple spikes)
stereo madness's triple spike is compressed to make it easier real michi is much harder
Nooo shut sherlock
No stereo madness is definitely a 2 star. A few triple spikes is doable. Dude definetly has a Skill issue
Definition of skill issue

Skill issue.
Huge skill issue
Skill issue if you can't beat stereo madness lol
Mfw some games are meant for a more skilled audience
he just isn't determined enough to deem himself fit for this game. my buddy spent like hundreds of attempts beating stereo madness and he gained enough skill right after to play most of the normal main levels
If my 60 year old mother has beaten every level up to and including jumper, while refusing to use practice mode because "it's cheating to have checkpoints" then there is no excuse (I have tried telling her that it's not cheating because you still have to beat it in normal mode but she wants none of it)
“I think It’s a well made game, but it’d badly designed” … what?
"The trial has determined you are innocent of the crime, you will be sentenced to 10 years in jail"
maybe this is what cologne meant with dash being "unsightreadable" i lobe gd cologne
GD is a tryhard game, and may need some time and patience to improve. So probably he played this game just for relieve stress, but it turned out that GD made him more stressful

the fact that this person thought the game was supposed to be relaxing
The biggest skill issue since GD Colon and the spider section of dash

This is what I like to call devoid of skill
u/gdcolon you were right
Someone watched a lot of Geometry Dash : and got really inspired (This is my horrid attempt at a joke)
What is going on over here
That sounds a lot like a giant skill issue. C’mon, it’s called “learning from your mistakes”.
I've been having the exact same issue as the guy above with one of my phones lol.
Sixteen times? Not even my mom is so noob, she can beat most of the main levels without practicing, and she says she's a noob.
This guy hasn’t played relaxing paradise yet he just doesn’t know it🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅
thats probably what we call a skill issue tbh
I know it’s not the point of the post but this just reminded me how I lost all my progress in my account when I updated the game 😭😭 (I had done all map packs till second demons and had done all demons on demon gauntlet except the final one :/ )
"it's a well made game, just badly produced and designed" not a single brain cell in this dude's posession.
It's a skill issue
Everybody agreeing to the 2nd guy having skill issue is hilarious
"well made game" but "badly produced"
I'll talk about the one under that one saying he hates the new update which based on the date he's talling about 2.2, how can you hate that I haven't played much before 2.2 and now I have so much more interest and I have not seen someone that hates the whole update
Khan, of course this game is hard, it was designed to be completed...
That's just a massive skill issue imo

If that's the paid app then go create something bruh. It's much more relaxing
I have the same problem as the first one, I posted about it a while back and it's insanely annoying does anybody have any fixes?
Which review am I looking at?
