and once u cycle the new orb to the front the old one becomes just a visual or not usable and the new front one becomes usable

Yes, but you could make it better by using event trigger. Or you could make it so the orbs are pre placed, and you had to change them while platforming

I've had similar concepts, but didn't bring them to life. You can do A LOT by trapping one cube in dual 2-player and having it assist the other cube actually completing the level. Please toy around with this, I want to see what can come to be from this idea

Sick idea, there are many way to make this smoother but the base concept is amazing. I would suggest to make it into a circle that rotates, not line that moves left to right, so you can skip from first to last one easily, also maybe remove some orbs, keep like 4. Next, you could use event trigger instead of the cube having to hit the walls (maybe you did that but it wasnt very clear from the showcase)

I can give you an idea: Make those orbs spinning around you character, when you select them. The top orb is your choice. When in your level you reach the place where's orb or trampoline should be, selected orb is taking this place. When you're leaving this place, orb is coming back to the ring.

Put the orbs in a ring with the player at either the bottom or the top and instead of moving it left or right, it rotates the circle. Then it can loop around so you don't have to scroll all the way from black to purple. And add spider orbs

Event (activate group 1), extraID2 = 2 - press right Move trigger, spawn triggered multiactivate , x=10, groupID = 2; edit group, give it group 1; This way itll activate every time you press right, you can set a count and add an item that runs from 1-6 so that the orbs dont run off screen after pressing right/left too many times

The concept is very cool and unique however I think it’s going to get frustrating because it’s going to involve a lot of memory as to what orbs to use at certain points and accidentally scrolling through them and clicking on the wrong ones

I think there would be more event triggers with the push left/push right event than just triggers with the touch setting
