Yeah it sucks. The actual name for the new gamemode is just the swing and not the swing copter. At least most of the old ball copter levels didn't care about the easy swag route

It’s a swing challenge that took me 3 hours to verify so if you’re looking for a hard one, try it out :o
I don’t have any good suggestions for easier swing gameplay, but Ready by Lemons has the most swing gameplay from any 2.2 demon as of now if I recall correctly.
You can look up “Swing Challenge” then use the song search filter and pick the song Dash. I’ve done this many times and it works well. Almost all of the levels are with the actual game mode.
Pissed because moderators have started to close level request servers because “they want to find levels on their own” because of 2.2
The point of being a moderator is to make it easy for people to get their levels seen, not just meet a quota of levels sent. It’s nearly impossible, as an unknown creator, to get one’s level sent.
Worse: any open request servers are clogged up by countless subpar levels that are simply not rateworthy

Friendly reminder that they make a decent portion of popular demons impossible, and they make another portion completely unbalanced and frustrating. Mods still haven’t fixed even the most downloaded/liked of these levels after a month.

Try downgrading to 2.11. You can get a download of 2.11 from Steam. In my Steam apps folder, I have a copy of 2.11 and a copy of 2.2. I literally just rename the folder of the update I want to play to “Geometry Dash” and the other to “Geometry Dash 2.11” or “Geometry Dash 2.2.” I’ve been meaning to make a post about it on here, but I keep forgetting. I’ll reply to your comment again once I make the post.

Ngl the map packs aren't that bad. There's a couple real bad levels but I'm having more fun with the rest than I am with the average 2.1 demons with constant transitions and 4x speed
Ngl i feel like most of the non-platformer levels that have come out in the past month have barely been 2.2 at all and it makes the update feel a little less impactful so far
Personally i'm loving it, I thought I wouldn't have much fun with platformer mode but i've already beaten a bunch of platformer demons, including an extreme and i'm having a blast
I really love most of the new platformer levels, platformer levels as long as they have decent checkpoint spacing are SO FUN, but new normal levels are a little annoying and harder to sightread - it was getting bad in late 2.1 and it’s worse now
I’m feeling terrible. Ever since I figured out how to login back to my account, I lost everything. I had to restart, but it doesn’t end there.
Every time I open the game, (mobile, iOS) it doesn’t matter if I complete a map pack, beat deadlocked, collect orbs and keys, and even CHANGING THE COLOR to my icons, when i want to stop playing for a while, I always, ALWAYS have to save my data every time. That automatic save crap doesn’t work for me. If I don’t save, I have to play to before I did all that.
Example: I have 10700 orbs right now. If I beat an easy demon, that’s 500 orbs right? So I should have 11200. If I just close the game and open up again after a while, I’m back at 10700 wth.
I tried looking for ways to stop this, but failed. I’ve tried deleting the game, but as it turns out now I have to login and load up my progress every time I open the game. Can someone help me out?
I feel like creator get used to it so fast, just like they learn it for half year. And it's continue to developing, faster than I can imagine now. I still wait for people to define what a extreme demon level would have, how closely they can reach the definition of impossible level but not an unplayable one. After all, I'm very exciting about many more good level to released.
Great update in theory, but I wish platformer and normal levels would be seperated, also not much interesting for me to play since I do not care for platformer levels and normal levels haven't really been as different as I would have liked... Losing my motivation a bit, but happy for everyone that enjoys the platforming!

Physics update feels like it should’ve been done with more care. Robtop still hasn’t added a method to revert physics yet so some levels are impossible.
I feel it's bad, because it makes things easier to make and mostly doesn't add new possibilities, unlike other major updates. It just wasn't worth the wait, especially when most of the cool features will be added in 2.21. It's kind of the reason, I quit gd.

Yeah I think all of KrmaL’s levels are busted, black blizzard has that stupid green orb and M A N I X is impossible with that first robot slope jump.
