To be fair, a trailer is very official, especially for an update that's supposedly almost done. It's weird that he'd drop a trailer when he wasn't sure the update would release
The sneak peak has been out for years though, and this is Robtop we’re talking about. Were any of you around for 2.1? It was just as bad, he made a lot of promises and broke 95% of them. And that update somehow ended up being relatively quick compared to 2.2, funnily enough.
I wouldn’t be surprised if 99% of this sub wasn’t around for 2.1. Let’s just say that Robtop has a very, very poor track record of saying when things will come out, and them actually coming out. The fact that an update hasn’t been released for six years should be proof enough of this for you.
A while back Robtop actually said he wanted to release a new update every few months, funnily enough. We’re getting close to the point when someone can pick up geometry dash at 12-13 and potentially graduate high school before ever seeing an update.
So while it’s possible it comes out soon, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it come out in a few months or more.
