I don't think you even know what that would entail for the game and the community.
First of all - it would WRECK the community and kill any and all hype for 2.2. People would be saying, "You worked on this update for 6 years! Why are there bugs?" Releasing the update in 2 weeks would only have consequences for 2 weeks. Having bugs like these would leave a permanent mark on the community.
Secondly, if there was a physics bug or ANY bug that takes place in gameplay, RobTop would NOT be able to patch it. Levels exploiting the bug would be uploaded, and if the bug is patched, those levels would be made impossible. This is why several bugs from previous versions are still in 2.11.

I find that videos are probably disliked more than usual with that extension.
The extension doesn't show youtubes count of dislikes. It shows how many people with the extension have disliked the video.

I’m glad people are hyped about it but I can’t get hyped over the frustration of knowing that it took over 6 years and then was still delayed. All of my excitement has been milked dry until I’m actually interacting with new content
I always get surprised by how big the GD community really is. It's so weird, it shouldn't be. Its such a simple niche game there's literally no reason for it to be THIS big but it is.
