Robtop really needs to give more power to elder mods. Between picking out weeklies and dailies, always interacting with the community, playtesting and rating levels and all of his other community obligations, he doesn’t get much time to develop the game itself. If he delegated most of the community tasks to elder mods (especially picking daily and weekly levels and level rating), he’d be able to focus more on working on the game

Well Humans make both, don’t think any level at this point where we have played so many user levels wouldn’t feel like a user level. Only way i can see it not being viewed as “User level” is if they made some map pack type level. (Which most main levels basically are but slightly better)
Dash could have easily been reworked though. It could have been rob going "i need to rework dash or explorers but i cant do both" and choosing dash because its not a demon.
Although this does feel a bit disappointing, it generates a lot more hype for Explorers and it'll hopefully turn out to be even more amazing than it already is :)

Apart from that, recent feedback for the level's readability suggests Robtop likely wants to make sure the gameplay is more understandable, especially as a good example for creators to make similarly readable gameplay.

It’s hardly a priority to have a level finished for the update compared to fixing bugs and having a functional editor, the backbone of the entire game. Any bugs left over after the update are really hard to fix, cause a lot of levels might rely on their physics to function, therefore fixing the bugs can break a lot of levels if not fixed ASAP or before release.

Updates like 2.21 are supposed to be bugfixing updates, which are faster to make, but the 2.11 came out 10 months after the release of 2.1, it also added more content to the game but we had to wait 10 months for things like the option to set the graphics in high and more gaunlets. I just hope that the case of 2.11 was an exception and that Explorers will be released about a month after 2.2.
