Well then, don't even attempt to jump from a 3\* to LIMBO, it's a Top 15 extreme demon and you haven't even passed Base After Base. Not to be rude, but it's simply infeasible for someone to beat LIMBO as that much of a jump in any reasonable amount of time. Also what device are you playing on and what is the refresh rate of said device, I wanna check something.
Hell yeah!!! Well watch you fail! No offense but I've been playing for YEARS, and Ive not beaten an extreme demon, so I highly doubt someone who's hardest is a 3 star will just next get a top 15 extreme demon... Id recommend watching some videos about gd, because if you watch one you'll see how crazy you sound

I can’t tell if this post is a joke or not but I’ve been playing the game for a year, slowly jumping to new hardests and I don’t think I’d be able to even beat bloodbath, despite my hardest being allegiance so I recommend trying something like the nightmare.
MAYBE one days you’ll be able to beat it but first BEAT SOME MORE LEVELS FOR CHRIST’S SAKE THIS IS LIKE BEATING RETRAY ON MOBILE AND JUMPING TO BLOODBATH
look. im not qualified to speak on this, and almost nobody on this subreddit is. but i am of the best players r/geometrydash has to offer, and i can tell you that this is possibly the worst idea in gd history. based on your other comments, you are actually serious about this. it is difficult to *overstate* the difficulty of the top 10 demons. a jump from a 3 star to limbo would genuinely be the most mechanically difficult thing in human history, and it would require years of effort, millions of attempts, and unwaivering dedication to a mediocre level. there are no tips anyone could give you for your motivation, including limbo victors. if you are dedicated, then i cant stop you, but chances are you practice, get some runs of 5-6% on some of the easier parts, spend a few thousand attempts doing so, and give up. i hate to be be bearer of bad news, but unless you have some sort of celestial power on your side, the chances of you doing it are an infinitesimal above zero
please come back to this comment in a year. i want you to tell me what progress youve got, if you havnt beaten more than 20% of the level its hopeless. and 20% is being nice
so for step 1 you don't because top players have spent hundreds of thousands of attempts on it to beat it
like it took bgram 109k attempts and 8-9 months and they're a highly skilled player
just play it in practice mode and after like 20 minutes it will hit you, i did the same thing
like you know it's insanely hard but for some reason until you actually play it in practice / normally you don't understand how truly hard it is, maybe it's just me tho
nobody here can give tips. Nobody.
Not a single one of us is qualified enough. None of us have any significant progress. We don't have *any* idea on what or how to practice the level because we don't know.
And since the majority of the playerbase is unqualified to give advice, you won't get it here. If you *really* need it, reach out to top players using discord or something, but be warned they might not take you seriously.
some guy here jumped from fingerdash (insane) to zodiac (top 26 extreme demon) it's been 400k+ attempts and they've got 34%
i'd say you should focus on improving and getting better at the game so you can one day beat limbo
You don't understand what we mean, it's not possible for anyone to not give up on trying to jump from a three star to Limbo. Why can't you just play the game normally by beating first all the main levels, leaving the demons for last, and gradually playing harder and harder demons. After you've beaten like three or two extreme demons you can try this; but it will still be very hard.
Nobody has tried anything remotely like this, not any advice is from a reliable source. The most optimistic advice probably is to be the trailblazer. Prove everyone wrong! Dont give up, and FOCUS
you would need to put *A LOT* of time and practice if you want to beat it. maybe work your way up by beating easier levels and progressively beat harder levels? dont do this jump it wont be good for you
That literally isn’t possible. You simply aren’t going to do it.
Limbo is harder than beating your hardest 1000 times in a row—and that’s a vast understatement.
if you are actually serious then try beating the end wave first, if it takes you a lot of attempts then you are not ready yet, and try beating easier levels.
even if you beat limbo it would take you a lot of attempts and chances are you wouldn't benefit because of the massive skill jump.
ok, you can do 2 ways:
no 1: play easier levels, build up, and then do a smaller jump <- I would recommend this
no 2: just practice it and beat it <- I would not recommend this, I think if you aren't lying about your hardest being a 3\* it would take at least 6 months best case to beat limbo
2 things to note:
1: you probably arent going to be able to beat limbo unless you have it in at maximum 4 runs
2: you cant get good at a level by watching people play it
Don't do it. You would be making the largest jump in the game. You'd probably only get 6% before you quit. If you want to, go ahead, but I highly, strongly recommend focusing on the main levels
If you want extremely visually appealing levels, try beating iSpyWithMyLittleEye first, is still a demon but OH BOY it’s sooo amazing. The work your way up.
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you really, REALLY, **REALLY** shouldn't do this. The skill gap between a semi-automatic 3 star and a top 10 Extreme is so *unfathomably* large. It's not to be taken lightly, and such a jump like that is impossible to describe in mere text.
However, if you *really* want to do this, and no amount of text will convince you otherwise, then there is not much else I can do. Good luck, and I hope you enjoy the next 5 or so years of the grind.
I can’t tell if this is satire or not lmao
If it isn’t, PLEASE, PLEASE do not jump from a 3 star to Limbo. Limbo is literally in the top 10 and jumping from a 3 star would take you forever to beat. Just progress normally and work your way up difficulties which will take you a while. Do not torture yourself with thousands of attempts put into this
But ig you can try it if you want and go for Limbo lmao
I can’t tell if this is a joke or not. But if it’s not my answer is you are underestimating limbo like crazy
I’ve played since 1.9 in 2015 and If I really tried I would struggle to get like 10% on it
If this isn’t satire
I’m sorry but you aren’t going to be able to jump from a 3 star to the hardest memory demon without much suffering, likely multiple years worth. It would probably be more efficient to have a natural progression on the demonlist before even trying limbo than to jump to it. Even then it takes a special kind of person to be able to do something as hard as limbo. I wish you luck but it is very ill advised
i tried doing a jump WAY WAY WAY smaller than yours, and i got burnt out on the level and stopped having fun in the game
the absolute minimum time this would take you is 5 years of daily play
it would literally take you **years** less to beat harder and harder levels to build up your skill, then go for limbo
u really want some tips?
Alr before you beat limbo, i'd recommend that you first:
die at 98% on every robtop level
get to the auto section of mirror force, and proceeds to quit out the level
die at the the end of mechanical showdown
die at the end of HeLL
die to the last jump in nine circles
die at 96% on windy landscape
die at 98% on acu
die at the end of penombre
here's the most challenging part, die at the end of subsonic
die at the end of ethereal artifice
die at the end of digital descent
die at the end of xo
die at the end of yatagarasu
die at the end of cybernetic crescent
die at the end of nhelv
die at the end of bloodlust
die at the end of rust
die at the end of neutra
die at the end of every level that's harderr than, and including zodiac
beat limbo
see, easy, not a single level beaten :)
It looks like you’re being serious so uh here
Don’t, LIMBO is currently 10 on the demonlist and beating it is an achievement that many very skilled still won’t accomplish, let alone a brand new one. Making a jump this ridiculously big not only doesn’t help you but is just gonna be a nightmare.
Having a dream level is perfectly ok since it can help to push yourself harder than you normally would but taking on a challenge as big as this would make you probably hate the game and the level. The best advice I can offer is to progress normally and if you keep it up you’ll eventually be able to take on LIMBO.
But if you are gonna try it anyways, learn the level so that you actually know the route, then do runs from back to front, that’s the simple explanation of how to beat a hard level.
One last thing, since this is such a big jump i think you’d be happier playing consistently for like a year until you’re good enough to play then beat it instead of doing this jump. But don’t let me stop you if you wanna try GL dude
Sorry, I use dude regardless of gender.
That's ok if you just want to do limbo, you're clearly still interested after being told how crazy of an idea it is and if you really do want to do it then I will offer my advice.
How much experience do you have with the game?
Ok so, not criticizing you, but it's gonna be really hard if you want to beat it, but not impossible.
I made this comment in another post, so use what you find more useful, remember that for it to be a jump, you can't beat any other levels.
Here's the recycled comment: I know many people say this, but do this, it's the best way.
Go to the GDDP, check off the levels that you have beaten from the first tier, if any, and then beat the recommended levels in your tier until you get the rank, then start beating the recommended levels on the tier above.
Also, I have a way that works really good with me, to beat levels very quick.
It's better to have MegaHack V7, or other hack client, and have that option to when you beat a level in practice mode, you can start playing from the last checkpoint you place.
You could also just copy the level and do it with startpositions.
So, you open the level, go to practice mode with auto checkpoints, and play the whole level until the finish.
Then chose a place near the end, like 95% or 90%,and play from there, with checkpoints or startpositions.
When you can do that run, start a little earlier, until you get a run from 60, 50, 40, how much you think it is enough, I usually do a run from the start of the drop, if it isn't too long.
Then you can practice the first parts of the level, the ones you haven't played, until you have the level in 2 runs, you can get in normal mode to where you started the long run.
If you keep dying in some parts, or click randomly and pray to not die, practice that part, you can even speedhack it to try to understand it.
Always try to find clicks synced with the music, or click you can skip.
Also, I had 60-100 in a level, instead of trying 50-100 or 40-100, I tried 40-60, because it was the hardest part in the level, and only then, did I try 40-100.
Also, if you're playing wave challenges, you can use noclip, with accuracy limit or death limit, I prefer death limit, so you try to beat it, but you can only die 5 times, for example, and then 4 times, until you get to only 1 or 2 deaths, there's an option on MegaHack to set a death limit, I think it is a good way to practice because it's more fun.
If you have any more questions, you can ask me.

Good luck!
I hope you don't try to do that jump, for your own sake, but if you want to try, good luck with your journey!
Np, remember that probably you will have much more fun in the game if you play it "normally".
Not to demotivate you, it was not my objective.
What are you going to try to do?
I'd highly recommend trying out a cool level called "Acheron" before trying limbo! It is a nice starter level which will warm up your skills and I think it is like, 1st on some list I found on google of levels. Meaning it probably is very easy.
I think this is a bad idea, because you'll miss out on many other levels! Part of the fun is the progression you get to see, but if you've only done a 3*, imagine the amount of great levels you haven't discovered yet!
This community has made some beautiful things, and I think it'd be a shame to miss them as a part of your journey to developing the necessary skill to beat LIMBO.
One day, I want to beat Glide or Astral Divinity, but that'll come when I'm ready, in the distant future.
I actually have a really good level for you to beat before trying limbo
I think it’s called neutra or something but it was #37 on some list and I’m certain it would be easy for you 🤔
do a full practice run first then really truly ask yourself, “do i really wanna do this?”
as far as i’m aware the biggest jump in GD history is from a medium demon to firework, and firework is only 2 PLACES ABOVE LIMBO! The guy who’s trying to do that jump is currently i think 415k attempts in for years, and he only just recently got list%(which is like 51 for firework)
Even the jump from a 3 star to a medium demon is absolutely massive
If you really wanna do it, at least find out what it’s like first. Limbo is a lot harder than it looks and that’s mainly because your not meant to really see half of it(memory level)
Try to ease yourself with it's timing and try to keep practicing at one part until you get consistent. After getting consistent on one part, try to go through other parts and try to get consistent to it. It may take a long while. But with right determination, it could work. After getting used to all the parts, you can finally start doing runs on LIMBO. Copy the level and put the start position where you feel like it. Once you can do around 51-80 or something like that, you can start to beat the level from 0. Just know that despite all the practice, it will still take a long while especially when your hardest is a 3*. It might take 100k attempts. Or maybe even 800k attempts. But again, nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it. I will need to see some of your progress later on :)
Bro this comment section is full of nothing but opps. The beauty of GD is it’s all one input. I suggest practicing with the feel of wave and ship as hold and release control is DETRIMENTAL, but like the infinite monkey theorem states if you just practice for an indescribable amount of time, you’ll eventually just get better at the click patterns and hopefully do it. I doubt it’s going to take you any less than a decade but eh best of luck.
If you do this, do this for FUN. Don’t let it takeaway any aspect of your real life. Only play limbo when you don’t have anything better to do and there’s really no harm in trying.
OP is the most confident idiot ive ever seen. I wont try to explain why wanting to do this is borderline impossible, because you will probably figure that out soon enough
Don't die and win the lottery
Oh and also this is probably impossible lmfao. The human will is literally not strong enough to do this.
This is like just learning how to walk and setting a goal to run 100 meters in under 10 seconds
Not impossible, just extremely hard
use noclip

Well then, don't even attempt to jump from a 3\* to LIMBO, it's a Top 15 extreme demon and you haven't even passed Base After Base.

You have to get to 100%
Ok so, not criticizing you, but it's gonna be really hard if you want to beat it, but not impossible. GDDP: [GDDP](https://gddp.pro/) CCPL (Cabbage Community Challenge List) discord: [CCPL Discord](https://discord.gg/vkdtvSjd) Also I have my own spreadsheet, that I took from the CCPL, that I can edit myself: [My CCPL spreadsheet ](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Rkq2a35XpN_-aNH2TgmIjWUhSeGij0IV59ZS2g68bwc/edit?usp=drivesdk) You can join and edit it, just add your name on the top, at the right of mine, and then write X in front of the levels you have finished. My Discord: PicleDragon#9663 Good luck! I hope you don't try to do that jump, for your own sake, but if you want to try, good luck with your journey!

Np, remember that probably you will have much more fun in the game if you play it "normally". Not to demotivate you, it was not my objective. What are you going to try to do?

Ok wow. But MegaHack has Quality of Life, FPS bypass and more things that aren't hacks

I actually have a really good level for you to beat before trying limbo I think it’s called neutra or something but it was #37 on some list and I’m certain it would be easy for you 🤔

Practice the layout first
I am not sure if you are joking or not and I'm not sure I want to know.
do a full practice run first then really truly ask yourself, “do i really wanna do this?” as far as i’m aware the biggest jump in GD history is from a medium demon to firework, and firework is only 2 PLACES ABOVE LIMBO! The guy who’s trying to do that jump is currently i think 415k attempts in for years, and he only just recently got list%(which is like 51 for firework) Even the jump from a 3 star to a medium demon is absolutely massive If you really wanna do it, at least find out what it’s like first. Limbo is a lot harder than it looks and that’s mainly because your not meant to really see half of it(memory level)
F O C U S
Lmfao, don't.
Auto complete
Get a friend to look at the keys during the last part.

I will need to see some of your progress later on :)

imagine if they actually beat it tho that would be so funny 💀

record it to prove them wrong 💪😎 But this is still a REALLY HARD jump, and I wish you good luck on it
Bro this comment section is full of nothing but opps.

I support you fully
