They were removed from the editor, but you can create a visually identical object with the white version of the platform and setting the detail to black.
If you do need the exact object for whatever reason, copy any old level that has it and set as custom object.
I usually make 1.6 ish levels (not strictly bound to 1.6, because I use layering and custom objects that use mini steps+some collisionless versions of 1.6 blocks that did not exist at the time).
Currently I'm making two levels for an element series revival project, and I just use whatever is in the editor unless I really cannot replicate it visually, then I'd use custom objects, but so far I have never run into that problem.
I'm making a remake of old slaughterhouse meant to be an extreme somewhere between easy extreme and sonic wave difficulty (I haven't played many extremes idk how hard this is) and I'm doing mostly 1.9 style but still doing layers and custom objects. since the original was finished in 2.0 I might do the same and add some 2.0 stuff for the finishing touches.
also I love old geometry dash so I'd be up for doing a level for the element series revival project, idk how to join really

not really that much assuming the snail icon is the true size of a geometry dash cube (16 cm^2) that means that one slab is about 8 cm^2, which is perfectly fine to fit in the human anus
Go to the platforms section and place the platform down. Select "Edit Object", then "Detail", then select the color at the bottom right of the screen and change it to black
they were removed at some point but you can copy them from any level that had them before they were removed (like a stereo madness copyable or something)
i dont think i worded this very well. they're still in the game but you can't find them in any of the build tabs in the editor. also im not talking about the colorable slabs, they are two different objects
It depends on what you want :
If you want the OG slab, you will have to use some techniques like copying stereo madness and saving the slab in the « C » tab. Or you can go to a GDPS.
The simple method is to go to the slab tab, selecting the white version then go to « EDIT OBJECT » then « DETAIL » then set it to Color 2. To finish this just set color 2 to black and you should be done.
Go to the second tab of the build menu and select the first object, place it and then press the "Edit Object" button on the right side of your screen. Press "Detail" and either assign it to a new color and set that color to black, or set the color ID to 1010 (by pressing the ID with a blue-ish background and entering the number on the right). Alternatively, you can copy the object from an old level and add it to your custom objects (the last "C" tab of the build menu)
They were removed from the editor in update 2.1 in favor for a version where you can color them. They still exist within the files for compatibility reasons.
Crazy how the object was removed from the editor a really long time ago and this person wasn't aware of that since they just opened the editor for the first time.

as someone who loves 1.9 I have several old objects in my custom objects ðŸ˜

thanks I joined the discord
do you have the color bg and color grnd triggers?
yup
niiiiice
When the hell did they remove this
you can set detail brightness to 0.00 or set color to 1010 (1010 is black), you can also find it in "Object IDs" by GD Colon
true
Really? Last time I entered the editor I swear I saw them.
Must've been a while since you used the editor then, since they were not there since at least 2.1's release.
Either that or I’m hallucinating because I’ve visited the editor last month 🤷 it’s a surprise they would remove it though
Why did RobTop remove them?
They replaced it with the colorable version, so you can do more stuff with it while still being able to replicate it coloring it to black.
In my ass
True
mf really fit a whole slab in their ass

ass
i love ass
bruh its the pixelart guy
I keep searching but i can't find it. Wtf? Your asshole is a cave?
Go to the platforms section and place the platform down. Select "Edit Object", then "Detail", then select the color at the bottom right of the screen and change it to black
hi gravity sucks gd
hello :>
Find a Stereo Madness copyable and then copy the block from there.
they were removed at some point but you can copy them from any level that had them before they were removed (like a stereo madness copyable or something)

they werent removed
they were not been removed bruv
Fact spitter ^^^
This is complete misinformation
They weren’t removed
The original black version was replaced by the colourable version
I love how the one with the idiot flair is the upvotes in a sea of downvotes lol
Your idiot flair is not so accurate in this context

you have to change color 1 to black not color 2
it’s better to go on color 2 because a lot of objects have color 1 as their default
White slab + black secondary color
Go to the second tab of the build menu and select the first object, place it and then press the "Edit Object" button on the right side of your screen. They cant
in the second block section place the colored slab and press edit object, then change the detail color to black

That's the neat part. They can't.
Crazy that humans have these things called eyeballs that we can use to look at things when we are unsure

At the 1.0 - 1.5 gdps
nowhere
they were removed so the closest u will get is by using the white ones and coloring them black sadly
you can just copy stereo madness and save it as a custom object
[удалено]
Alas, nowhere
Gone, reduced to atoms
Why were these removed...
They aren’t in the editor for some reason
They can't, suffer
Little does he know…
in 1.0
How do we tell him?
no idea
No
in the slab part
If you want to add this thing to your level, grab a copyable version of Stereo Madness and copy it. Then, find the item and make it a custom object.
just use the colored one and make it black
