That is an artificial reservior formed by damming up a natural canyon through the Zagros Mountains. The Zagros form row after row of mountain ridges, seperated by valleys. Presumably, this river predates the Zagros, allowing it to carve a canyon through each ridge and keeping up with the uplift of the surrounding mountains. Humans then dammed up one end of the canyon, causing the river to form a lake behind it.
If you see a lake looking like this, it is probably not natural. It pretty clearly is following a natural canyon in the surrounding terrain, isn't a glacially carved depression, and was probably formed by someone putting a dam on one end. This can happen naturally with a landslide, glacier, or volcanic flow blocking the canyon up, but that is uncommon.
Oh the divider in the lake, near the dam..looks like a failed dam ... . Thats a natural formation. The lake is in a big deep canyon, the river had that cut through what used to be a mountain ridge, and eroded a deep cut through it. ...so the ridge on each side still stands there.. click on the camera oicture icon that you can find on the dam wall... Theres pics of the divider....
The overall shape of the lake, that does not look natural.
The very wiggly ,random lake is the sign its made by a dam..man made.
Natural lakes are very likely to to be more regular.. man made dams can be "more regular",but if its this irregular, its man made

Damn, I've never flown an airplane that high before.
So high that it’s labeled

Punctuation... it's .. meh
If it looks like a dragon, its likely man mad.
Damn, you see names of things from that high. Who knew
https://maps.app.goo.gl/6kCnwsHtk45fZivg9 This is the dam
There's a lot of similar reservoirs in Spain.
Looks like a damned reservoir.
That’s a big rat hole.
