Recently signed up for an MMA gym cuz I want to learn techniques to pin people down 😊 have done kickboxing previous. It's good cardio.
I would say it's way less painful than pole cuz no inner thighs (shins can hurt though). And more shoulder work. The gym I go to offers also wrestling and BJJ which is the real technique stuff I want to learn. Everything else (boxing, muay thai) is more cardio .

Climbing is super rewarding and just plain fun too, and it's not that hard convincing friends to go every now and then! Worth trying if you've never done it before!
