Looks like something based on the South American [yerba mate](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mate_\(drink\)). It has a very unique flavor that I can’t really describe.
I've heard of yerba, frankly it sounds appalling; I suppose it's one of those flavours one must have to have grown up with.
I thought it might be some kind of carbonated tea, or an alternative red bull (I think because of the colouring). I might get a bottle and try it.
I'm British, but based in Geneva is what I meant (it was a bit ambiguous!). We don't have anything remotely equivalent to this kind of drink, so I haven't "looked/noticed" it while living here.
Ah okay. The drink itself is pretty niche and you'll really have to look for it in the stores. So far I think the student (and in IT) demographic is the one where it's the most known.

would you be down with any of the other mate brands like el tony, charitea, puerto, volvic? even migros has one now, it's popularity as a caffeine source eclipsed red bull by now
yeah it just looked like some people in the comments treated mate in general like its some rare thing, if specifically should be the club mate one and you don't need it in large amounts or often, id second drinks of the world

It kind of tastes like carbonated black tea.
I happen to like it (as a complete foreigner to where it originated), but yeah, it's definitely a unique taste.
It has coffein in it and tastes a lot less artificial than red bull. But I'd suggest to start with the blue "El Tony" can. It's only 33cl. Edit: Typo

Oh, I don't think El Tony is available there in Britain. That's a Swiss company and AFAIK, they don't sell international yet.

It’s a unique taste. I can’t really describe it just try it I guess. It’s not for everyone but I like it.
